I extremely identify with klay in that little trash talking exchange

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 03:51 (eight years ago)

I see why brothers threw TT out, but the fact that he actually missed him with the elbow makes it a little awkward

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 03:52 (eight years ago)

Lol xp otm

Kd giving up that rebound to jr oof. Hill looked really shook between FT one and two

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 03:59 (eight years ago)

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 04:06 (eight years ago)

JR basically just pulled a starlord

tsrobodo, Friday, 1 June 2018 04:10 (eight years ago)

ty lue otm, reviewing that charge was pretty suspect (even if they did make the right call in the end)

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 04:12 (eight years ago)

"it aint right, it aint right" tyronn lue at the podium

kinda sad imo
absolutely clueless

moullet, Friday, 1 June 2018 04:15 (eight years ago)

Well anyone on the team coulda called a timeout too so blame can be shared

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:19 (eight years ago)

lebron did seem to be calling a timeout just before JR passed it to hill, I was kind of wondering why no one was talking about it

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 04:21 (eight years ago)

after i say lol jr just wanted to add that its starting to drive me crazy how enthusiastically wrong van gundy and jackson get so many calls even after watching multiple replays, like that was such an obvs block on bron he just threw himself shoulder first into the play but they were convinced it was a charge, they do this every game and i dont know why

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:23 (eight years ago)

yeah it's infuriating

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 04:24 (eight years ago)

Their rants are annoying and yah so often offtm

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:28 (eight years ago)

that jr play tho wow lol

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:29 (eight years ago)

loved how he just immediately admitted to not knowing the score too

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:30 (eight years ago)

not knowing the score there is just incredible like how are you not thinking to yrself if he makes this were ahead its just the natural thought process for any human

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:31 (eight years ago)

its pretty funny that lebron the basketball genius has been forced to play with him for the last 4 years

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:33 (eight years ago)

——-forced—— to give him a big ass contract more like

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:35 (eight years ago)

Warriors rebounding was embarrassing tonight, again. KD played so poorly I can’t figure out what’s going on w him. His stats look fine but man idk

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:36 (eight years ago)

uhh

Ty Lue just went on the podium and said JR told him he thought they were up one and was trying to run the clock out https://t.co/PvJgu1dh9c

— Anthony Slater (@anthonyVslater) June 1, 2018

JR Smith: "I was trying to get enough to bring it out to get a shot off. I knew we were tied, I thought we were going to call timeout. If I thought we were ahead, I'd have held onto the ball and let them foul me."

Chris Paul is texting Lebron “I knew the game was tied”

— Colin Cowherd (@ColinCowherd) June 1, 2018

Lmao

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:43 (eight years ago)

tfw you tell on yourself

Tristan Thompson said he didn't think it was appropriate for Shaun Livingston to take that shot with the time & score so he contested it. Said he wasn't attempting to flagrant foul, was surprised he got a flagrant-2.

— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) June 1, 2018

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 04:43 (eight years ago)

Unreal

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:46 (eight years ago)

Draymond was a liiiiiiiittle too fired up I could see another scenario where he gets goaded into doing something dumb again.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:49 (eight years ago)

lol fair but more curious about the warriors side of things and how they haven't exactly lit it up

Offense looked a lot more comfortable in general they missed some shots they usually make. Then they just got absolutely thrashed on the glass all night was really the main thing.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 04:54 (eight years ago)

Lebro not having it at all in this presser

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 05:04 (eight years ago)

Lmao he just walked off after being asked about jr multiple times

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Friday, 1 June 2018 05:06 (eight years ago)

LeBron walks off the podium after an exchange with a reporter about JR Smith, tells him to “be better tomorrow"

“We know that, in the situations, OK, we’d like to get the ball up to the basket in a tie game prior to the buzzer sounding. What we have here is a young man grabbing an offensive rebound and running very quickly in the incorrect direction. This is not ideal.” pic.twitter.com/WObIAYSE6l

every single front page post on deadspin is about LeBron lmao

hard to feel bad for a supernaturally gifted athlete who is gonna make a half-billion dollars and go down as the greatest to ever play but god damn I really do in this moment

frogbs, Friday, 1 June 2018 13:36 (eight years ago)

We’ve all had to deal with coworkers making stupid mistakes and not being good at their job. What can you do!

Jeff, Friday, 1 June 2018 13:40 (eight years ago)

I feel bad for LeBron. And him icing his knees after all these playoff games whether his team wins or loses...it's eerily reminiscent of the way Jordan was at the end of his career. Except of course the look in his eyes is one that he will never match Jordan's titles and therefore, will never be able to outright claim GOAT.

But when I start feeling bad for LeBron then I start to wonder what the hell happened between him and Kyrie.

Joe Gargan (dandydonweiner), Friday, 1 June 2018 13:47 (eight years ago)

ppl focusing on officiating dont really understand the game

Is this the real reason why Cavs lost the game? pic.twitter.com/acgtc431gY

tough out there when you get to choose your conference, your team, your coach, and your teammates

k3vin k., Friday, 1 June 2018 17:06 (eight years ago)

sprout god (lag∞n), Friday, 1 June 2018 17:10 (eight years ago)

The officiating in the Finals always includes some very bad calls and a whole lot of inconsistency. This is normal and should be expected. The trick for the players is to shrug it off, keep their head in the game, and play as hard as they know how. The trick for the fans is, uh, it makes no difference what the fans think of the officiating.
