warriors went down 3-1 against thunder just two years ago and came back but i guess that's the same year they lost to the cavs

If they lose ya
I mean “third tier rando predictably being out of rotation fucked me up” is basically on the projector when he walks into the end of season meeting and the only possible response is peace I’ll see myself out

it's not....the best explanation but they clearly don't want korver to have to actually defend so it makes some semblance of sense.
― call all destroyer, Thursday, 24 May 2018 15:26 (six years ago) link
having lebron makes it hard to evaluate if ty lue is a good coach but overall i think he's done ok in this series... he has the way worse roster, is going up against one of the two best coaches in the league & on the road has basically had like 2 players in any given game who haven't looked like total trash. so idk.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 24 May 2018 15:32 (six years ago) link
the fact that almost his entire roster is playing their worst ever basketball is a bit troubling
― sprout god (lag∞n), Thursday, 24 May 2018 15:45 (six years ago) link
the inconsistency of the Cavs is a major red flag, like day-to-day you have no idea what team is going to show up. for a minute they looked like a team that shouldn't even be in the playoffs, and i'm talking about how they were playing *in* the playoffs. and then they looked like a team that would have a shot at the title. so my guess is they win by 20 tomorrow.
― omar little, Thursday, 24 May 2018 15:50 (six years ago) link
the celtics blew the cavs out while shooting 37% btw lol

― marcos, Thursday, 24 May 2018 15:59 (six years ago) link
yeah not the most inspiring team

i root for KLove but it's funny that he's been agitating for being a bigger banana for so long and now he finally is one and is Bad
― 龜, Thursday, 24 May 2018 16:09 (six years ago) link
weirdly love has basically been the only player to show up in road games in this series but was invisible in the home blow outs. and he was good in the raptors series.
― J0rdan S., Thursday, 24 May 2018 16:13 (six years ago) link
I like Love. He’s terrible at times, but I admire how his haircut has improved over the years.

prediction with the success of the celtics the basketball nerd media lowe et al are going to get super stoked on toughness, and will not acknowledge the irony
Stevens: We have a lot of tough guys on our team but I think they would all tell you Aron Baynes is one of the toughest. #celtics— Amanda_Pflugrad (@Amanda_Pflugrad) May 24, 2018

its funny the celtics and the spurs seem to be the two orgs that have the most comprehensive personnel systems, the spurs are avowed knucklehead avoiders but the celtics kinda love them

NBA playoffs: Klay Thompson expected to play in Game 5 vs. Rockets. Andre Iguodala is considered a "game-time decision."
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Thursday, 24 May 2018 18:05 (six years ago) link
feel like missing iggy + a less than 100% klay is the perfect equalizer to this series, dubs still have the advantage but rox have a shot
― sprout god (lag∞n), Thursday, 24 May 2018 18:09 (six years ago) link
think you gotta favor the rockets by a hair, homecourt plus the injuries.
