how did they get steph wide open there
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:29 (eight years ago)
kerr not calling a timeout on the second to last possession was malpractice
OTM and WTF
― Joe Gargan (dandydonweiner), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:31 (eight years ago)
cp3 gotta miss that 2nd ft too lol cmon
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:31 (eight years ago)
that was super weird
― 龜, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:32 (eight years ago)
both teams lost their minds in the last few mins there
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:33 (eight years ago)
no way have to make the second one
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:35 (eight years ago)
I can see the argument I guess, but they could def get a rebound in 0.2 secs and call timeout to get a look for the win. if you make the FT you take losing in regulation out of the equation
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:38 (eight years ago)
i think they prob would’ve had to go for a tip
― J0rdan S., Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:41 (eight years ago)
yeah i dont think .5 is enough to do all that, but i guess sometimes the clock operators/refs allow weird shit in those situations
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:42 (eight years ago)
probably...but if they somehow called a timeout with 0.3 it would be a disaster
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:42 (eight years ago)
xp
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:43 (eight years ago)
i dont think theres much chance the dubs wldve had as good a chance to win as they got when he made the ft
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:43 (eight years ago)
realistically it takes at least .5 to secure a rebound in the actual world
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 03:45 (eight years ago)

Man what a game. I was having game 7 ‘16 flashbacks the way the offense just stopped for some reason. Kd looked bad all night even the shots he made looked bad. This was a def #firekerr game for me. Once the play broke down and there was nothing there you gotta call a TO. Warriors basically played like they had the game won as soon as they got it to 82-70.
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 04:32 (eight years ago)
Warriors had about 8 chances to put the game away way earlier tho.
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 04:33 (eight years ago)
I don’t understand how the default play when everything is braking down is not the STEPH KD PNR. I mean wtf they were running Steph Looney pnrs!
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 04:54 (eight years ago)
das why they shd run it more during the season imho shd be second nature
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 04:55 (eight years ago)
yep, the rockets knew their gameplan and the warriors just .... expected to be able to do stuff

The Warriors went 3-18 from the field in the 4th quarter (16.7%), their worst shooting quarter this season. pic.twitter.com/DvUZVUDcwA— ESPN Stats & Info (@ESPNStatsInfo) May 23, 2018

Much as I hate their game, credit to the Rockets for stepping up big on D in the clutch. Though like Spottie said dubs were making some boneheaded decisions, especially late. With Klay and Iggy hurt I don't think GSW have it in them to win two of the next three. We'll see though.
― Fetchboy, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:26 (eight years ago)
idk GSW only lost by 3 and I don't think they could possibly play a worse quarter than they did in the 4th. I'd still wager that the Dubs win it.
― frogbs, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:28 (eight years ago)
do we know how bad those dudes r hurt neither seemed super srs
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:28 (eight years ago)
def cld tilt the series thoooo
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:29 (eight years ago)
klay's jumper looked pretty ugly after he went down. Next game shd be a fun one.
― Fetchboy, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:31 (eight years ago)
this is prob reductive but i'm not sure durant is shooting 9-24 again this series in which case...

there are all sorts of scenarios that can happen in basketball games guys!
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:55 (eight years ago)
feel like kd was def taking it personal last night trying to be the hero, dubs really need to have steph playing point guard mostly, their offensive cohesion kinda got exposed as not being that great, they had a ton of games missed to injuries/rest this year, the hamptions5 didnt really play together as much as im sure they wldve liked, mostly they have enough talent to paper over that but last night it showed
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 15:59 (eight years ago)
not having iggy was obvs big too, and klay rolling his ankle, theyre thin
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:00 (eight years ago)
Harden is 26 for 86 from beyond the arc since the beginning of the Jazz series so my suggestion is he should get better at shooting threes.
― omar little, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:03 (eight years ago)
KD had CP3 on an iso several times late and massively bricked jumpers
― 龜, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:03 (eight years ago)
the rockets are so insanely better when harden is driving and kicking rather than taking step back threes
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:06 (eight years ago)
he needs to tune his game to the playoffs a lil more, expect all that perimeter dribbling to be guarded a little better and to get fewer calls when driving, conclusion go faster and kick more
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:10 (eight years ago)
play more normal dont just drive into three guys hanging out in the paint, i mean if three guys are hanging out in the paint then
― sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:12 (eight years ago)

What I didn't get about that play was that the whistle was blown long before harden and Dray made any contact so it must've originally been called on Steph's dumb reach-in, but then they gave Harden the and-one even though he hadn't started to gather til after the foul?
― Fetchboy, Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:24 (eight years ago)
you get continuation as long as you dont dribble again more or less.
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:30 (eight years ago)
warriors offense should be fine but they really should have a hierarchy for games like last night. plan C should be steph/kd or steph/dray or kd/dray pnr with off ball action going on, it's very simple, no one can stop that stuff and i dont think they did it once. if they lose this series im calling for kerr's head. that would be a finals game 7 and a v important game 4 loss you could put the majority of the blame on him for. You know who the warriors could use this series... omri casspi. also Klay has been pretty much the worst version of himself since game 1.
― they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 23 May 2018 16:36 (eight years ago)
warriors had 14 assists last night.
Harden was shook and ready to roll over and die again but CP saw the warriors slipping and pulled that team from the grave last night. Tucker has been incredible, he basically pushed KD off his spot all night, he was getting the ball at the 3 pt line or even half court cos he couldnt hold his position in the post vs him.
