hill was a really good defender i believe that, tho his lack of attacking on the offensive end was def a liability, u need yr point guard in the paint getting rowdy

good rule of thumb ime is when a guys ceiling is borderline allstar in the eastern conference and much of his value comes from subjective evaluation of defense...we should be careful feeling confident that he was that good

hard to overstate how dreadful LRMAM was in the first quarter

most nba players are crazy about minutes and just want to play all the time, even if holding yourself out makes sense from a laymans perspective its still an unusual choice

if yr 'essentially healthy' you don't have an injury. regardless i think kawhi and his camp's conduct throw up major red flags for any organization that's interested - if kawhi's camp would do that to the spurs then imagine what he might do to you. it's def a gamble imo

this is def what bothers me. spurs are the pinnacle of organizational discipline and look what kawhi has done to them

well i wouldn't trade for him unless he agreed to sign longterm and if he signs longterm i'm not sure you'd have a ton to worry about

KD has one assist through the first two games after averaging a career high this season and 5+ in the playoffs up to now as well. nothing he's doing wrong really but they've gotta start whipping the ball around like usual, he'll still get his. Klay was arguably the best player in game 1 and arguably the worst in game 2.
