i'm not a huge fan of bud but the bucks desperately need a coach w/a system and structure and he can give them that

bud's a great coach. his ability to get the highest potential out of players is insane.

he was probably their best option. move makes a lot of sense to me and should hopefully get them over the hump. judging by these playoffs so far, Bucks feel like they could be #2 in the East

If you are doomed to lose KAT, no matter what you do (which was the fate of that perennial doormat, the Clippers, through most of their existence), then you are screwed for the next couple of years, no matter what.

But usually the root cause of such woes is an incompetent front office, so the real answer is buying some top-notch front office execs and give them about 6 years to turn your franchise around. That includes hiring the right coach and GM, of course.

someone will come out clean from the kat/thibs conflict but we don't know who it is yet

like i'm not saying thibs has been a good coach for the wolves but there are a lot of good players who would run through a wall for him. if kat isn't one of them it's fair to wonder why that is.
