reporter asked bron sitting there with a cap pulled low over his eyes blocking the tv lights if he was checked for a concussion "i was checked for multiple things"

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 03:59 (eight years ago)

"I was checked for a concussion and things of that nature."

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 04:01 (eight years ago)

Lineup of Hill/Korver/Bron/Love/Thompson played 0 seconds last night. If you are going to play big with Love and TT, you have to find a way to get to to that group.

Marcus smart was so good last night, he’s dialed back his wild mistakes but knows when to cut loose and dive for rebounds in traffic, steals, etc. him and Rozier playing with fire is just doubly effective against a team prone to self-doubt and funks like these cavs

They both increase my blood pressure when it doesn’t work out but also cause me more jumping fist pumps than anyone I can think of

Btw I think tatum and brown are both untouchable inside the cs org, Tatum is going to be a pierce level star and brown just knows what he’s doing already as a soph

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 18:13 (eight years ago)

yeah theyd only move those guys for mvp level players prob and only one of them

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 19:04 (eight years ago)

simmons keeps saying he wouldn't trade tatum for kawhi which to me is insane

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 16 May 2018 19:25 (eight years ago)

I wouldn't do it. Kawhi's injury is too weird.

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 19:30 (eight years ago)

Like if he's 100% healthy and I get to see him practice then maybe

good stuff in here showing steph orchestrating the D on the fly so he can avoid the switch onto harden

yeah i mean id def look into it but there are some serious red flags, plus the salary situation always has to be considered

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 20:05 (eight years ago)

man gotta say george hill is fn cooked he used to be a top perimeter defender and the celtics were seeking him out for attack last night god

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 20:14 (eight years ago)

feel like the idea of George Hill has always been better than the actual player. similar to another Cav, ya boy the assertive.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 20:24 (eight years ago)

hill was a really good defender i believe that, tho his lack of attacking on the offensive end was def a liability, u need yr point guard in the paint getting rowdy

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 20:25 (eight years ago)

he was fine. pop swindled the pacers.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 20:26 (eight years ago)

i was listening to something where some writer was expressing utter disbelief that rozier was outplaying george hill and i was like it’s not really crazy that someone with a pulse is outplaying 2018 george hill.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:17 (eight years ago)

i'm willing to give hill a bit of a pass since he had to get an epidural just to make it through the pacers series, but yeah he would have been a nice pick up as like the 8th man in your playoff rotation. don't think you can be relying on him for game changing minutes...

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:37 (eight years ago)

kinda wild to me that they are getting zero from hood/clarkson/nance. you would think one of those guys would step up and at least be a rotation worthy player.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:46 (eight years ago)

the cavs might not be the best environment for players to flourish

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:47 (eight years ago)

were like a week til the anonymous post season recriminations drop

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:48 (eight years ago)

i think they might want to try and give nance some burn. hood looks spooked & clarkson is bad.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 16 May 2018 21:53 (eight years ago)

unfortunately nance's post up looked hilarious

, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:04 (eight years ago)

celtics also went right at him and he looked dumb

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:07 (eight years ago)

Nance has looked so shook and I’m generally a believer that he can at least be a good energy rotation big

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:31 (eight years ago)

I would be absolutely terrified that I’d be swapping a possible superstar in tatum for a broken former superstar in kawhi

Not to mention the weird vibes and expense

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:32 (eight years ago)

same

, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:34 (eight years ago)

kawhi being so weird w/Pop is a red flag, especially considering Pop's LMA-whispering skills last offseason.

omar little, Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:35 (eight years ago)

I’ve noticed brad is particularly savage in getting his guys after dudes who have just checked in and/or are shook in any way

gritty tigger reboot (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:38 (eight years ago)

yeah hes popovichian in relentlessly targeting any weakness

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:42 (eight years ago)

i'm skeptical kawhi's injury is really that serious. i think he knew the spurs couldn't win the title this year and didn't wanna risk making his injury worse.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:50 (eight years ago)

an injury that persists all season and cld get worse is prob pretty bad

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:52 (eight years ago)

tatum's great but the celtics have a shit ton of money invested in three guys in their late 20s/early 30s. kyrie-jaylen-hayward-kawhi-horford would be monster favorites in the east and could win the title.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:53 (eight years ago)

they wld have to trade one of hayward-horford-kyrie to match salaries unfortunately

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:54 (eight years ago)

tho if were still operating on the kawhi for tatum straight up premise yeah im sure the celtics wld be very open to talking about it but i dont think theyd do it without getting to the bottom of the ongoing kawhi drama first

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:58 (eight years ago)

if they had to make the decision based on what the public knows now they prob wldnt do it

sprout god (lag∞n), Wednesday, 16 May 2018 22:59 (eight years ago)

Rockets by 15 tonight is my prediction.

that many turnovers and that many missed 3s in the 1st is huge

i bet he’s essentially healthy. you can have a non-career threatening injury that you don’t want to risk aggravating.

good rule of thumb ime is when a guys ceiling is borderline allstar in the eastern conference and much of his value comes from subjective evaluation of defense...we should be careful feeling confident that he was that good

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 May 2018 01:51 (eight years ago)

hard to overstate how dreadful LRMAM was in the first quarter

k3vin k., Thursday, 17 May 2018 01:52 (eight years ago)

most nba players are crazy about minutes and just want to play all the time, even if holding yourself out makes sense from a laymans perspective its still an unusual choice

micah, Thursday, 17 May 2018 01:52 (eight years ago)

better ball movement tonite

cp3 has been really good. always making the right pass, playing great D
