Sucks that the Bucks couldn’t put it together this year, but I like how flexible their roster looks, despite being mismanaged. Max on the right guy at the right time (Giannis), dependable 2nd/3rd scorer on good value contract (Middleton at $13m next two seasons), high activity dude on rookie contract (Maker), and a dude they know they can dangle as trade bait and not throw big money at (Jabari).

the shape of the bucks roster kinda makes sense but theyre short on guys who understand basketball good

watching the celtics press dellavedova full court everytime he brought the ball up forcing him to turn around and back his defender down for 40 feet chewing up half the shot clock was so beautiful eventually the bucks stopped letting him handle the ball lol what a talentless goon

by the end of the series i’d kind of ended up in the “bucks only have two good players” camp but also can’t underestimate how badly they need a real coach.

btw early in the second half the celtics were slipping cldnt buy a basket the lead was down to 4 when horford just took over the game on both sides of the floor for 5 minutes and it was a wrap

jayson tatum had a pretty rough series, had a hard time dealing with the increased defensive scrutiny of the playoffs... except when the bucks put jabari on him, then he looked like kevin durant

watching a team for seven games in a row is pretty fun, even when u end up disgusted with them

I still remember feeling that way year after year w/the knicks when they played the Bulls in the ‘90s. So disgusting but so fun.

tatum looked like a rook as expected for a lot of the series. played much more within himself in game 7.
