the celtics bench has for the second time in two games felled a might western playoff team

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 13:00 (eight years ago)

curry had a mcl sprain like two years ago in the playoofs right?

, Saturday, 24 March 2018 13:32 (eight years ago)

Yes. Slipped on sweat vs the rockets. Wasn’t quite right the rest of the playoffs once he came back. KD recovered ok after Zaza fell on him the same way javale fell on curry. But the MRI could reveal something worse so we gotta wait and see.

grade 2 mcl sprain

, Saturday, 24 March 2018 19:48 (eight years ago)

the one he had in 2016 was grade 1... this is good news for the long run but the door really is open in the west playoffs.

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 20:13 (eight years ago)

lol they took something out that was put in in an earlier surgery

Celtics announce Kyrie Irving will return to basketball activities in 3-6 weeks after removing tension wire in his left knee today. Playoffs begin three weeks from today.

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 20:16 (eight years ago)

guess it wasnt needed anymore

According to a release sent out by the team, “the wire was originally placed as part of the surgical repair of a fractured patella sustained during the 2015 NBA Finals. While removal of the wire should relieve irritation it was causing in Irving’s patellar tendon, the fractured patella has fully healed and Irving’s knee has been found to be completely structurally sound.”

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 20:51 (eight years ago)

celts gonna have to play out of their damn minds to advance.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 20:54 (eight years ago)

dubs should be able to survive until the wcf w out curry

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 20:55 (eight years ago)

if kyrie is back for the offs they shd be fine

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:00 (eight years ago)

if its more like may 5th yeah theyre in trouble

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:01 (eight years ago)

they cld def wina 1st round series w/o him but they cld also lose

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:02 (eight years ago)

dubs cld be out in the 1st round tbh

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:02 (eight years ago)

considering all the other injuries they have

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:03 (eight years ago)

rockets raptors baby

k3vin k., Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:04 (eight years ago)

cld def lose in the 2nd round with a healthy aside from steph team

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:04 (eight years ago)

if the raptors win the nba championship itd be pretty sweet

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:04 (eight years ago)

considering all the other injuries they have

the klay/kd injuries are shut-it-down-for-a-while injuries imo, not serious. Draymond is really the one to keep an eye on imo, if he doesnt have the ability to turn it up to 90-100% in those games when they need him to do that then that will mean trouble, or at least long series that shouldnt be long. the warriors defense when curry sits out is incredible, and the offense hovers around 10th in the league (they sink when KD sits tho). with KDs minutes likely on the rise in the offs, they really should be able to beat anyone w/o curry except the rockets.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:20 (eight years ago)

they gotta sign quinn cook should be their number 1 priority right now tho

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:21 (eight years ago)

yeah idk there are just a ton of teams playing really good basketball rn and those shut it down for a while injuries often linger

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:35 (eight years ago)

i wldnt want to see okc beating up on my shorthanded small team if i were the dubs

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:36 (eight years ago)

paul george running around harassing kd, it cld get ugly

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:37 (eight years ago)

also the jazz i wld be scared of the jazz, the other matchups are prob fine, tho portland is flammable

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:38 (eight years ago)

yeah dubs want no part of okc tbf. they would prob win but would take a beating in the process.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:39 (eight years ago)

they r brutes 4 sure

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:39 (eight years ago)

the jazz ability to force a halfcourt game wld be bad for the dubs especially if theyre down to only one guy who can really break the D down

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:41 (eight years ago)

those games would be some defensive slugfests

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:43 (eight years ago)

basically these playoffs just got a lot more interesting

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:44 (eight years ago)

if it happens to line up jazz-okc-rockets-toronto for the dubs that wld be a fn epic journey

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:44 (eight years ago)

every one of those series would be great except for the finals

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:45 (eight years ago)

toronto......might be good

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:46 (eight years ago)

i want to believe but i'm not gonna fall for it again.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:51 (eight years ago)

yeah im def in prove it mode, but i like what theyre done this year theyve been blatantly better than those past teams that fizzled out

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:53 (eight years ago)

maybe they can win a first round series in less than 7 games

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:56 (eight years ago)

a reasonable expectation imo

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 21:56 (eight years ago)

their real improvement is their bench, who are obv very unproven, and a deep bench doesnt mean much in the postseason. derozan's 3p shooting is p much smoke n mirrors imo.

they call me melo gelo (Spottie), Saturday, 24 March 2018 22:02 (eight years ago)

idk they switched their offense up a bunch, much more ball movement much less iso that tends to bog down in the offs

lag∞n, Saturday, 24 March 2018 22:05 (eight years ago)

yeah agree on that. everything on paper points to them winning the east...

ben w/ another triple double

Mordy, Saturday, 24 March 2018 23:49 (eight years ago)

when is jimmy back

Clay, Saturday, 24 March 2018 23:59 (eight years ago)

melo's game has devolved into such trash it's really kind of hard to watch at this point

Clay, Monday, 26 March 2018 02:05 (eight years ago)

he has looked borderline unplayable

J0rdan S., Monday, 26 March 2018 02:11 (eight years ago)

we might see a lot of russ-PG-jerami grant-brewer-adams in the playoffs

J0rdan S., Monday, 26 March 2018 02:11 (eight years ago)

i feel like everyone knew this was his destiny but then it happened overnight
