The Athletic Department’s Search Committee seeks a Head Men’s Basketball coach with integrity, vision, and a commitment to the comprehensive development and success of the program and its individual student-athletes. A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ coaching experience (preferably at the NCAA Division l or comparable level) are required. In addition, the candidate should present the following qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to produce and lead a highly successful, championship level Men’s Basketball team;
Demonstrated commitment to the safety, welfare, personal development and academic success of student-athletes;
Demonstrated commitment to and compliance with the principles and bylaws of the NCAA, policies and procedures of the ACC, the University and the Athletic
Department, as well as a demonstrated record of ethical decision making and sound-level judgment within a fast-paced and competitive environment;
Demonstrated ability to manage, lead, and hire a qualified staff of coaches;
Demonstrated ability to build and manage effective relationships with prospective student-athletes, current student-athletes, university administrators, staff, alumni, donors, community, and other internal and external constituents.
Commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and the Department. the Department’s Head Coach Philosophy Statement as well as the principles of “The Pitt Promise”

its pretty interesting that no one knew what to make of steph, he went 7th as a junior, then ended up having arguably the greatest offensive season ever winning multiple mvps and changed how the game is played

yeah that was pretty much a blowout. buffalo was 15-30 from 3 and arizona was 2-18.

Watching that I was thinking that Ayton must have dropped about 8 draft positions with that game. His fundamentals were dismal. He looked flummoxed on defense and easily kept off the block on offense. Even so, basic economics will make sure he's a one-and-done and that some team will draft him by number 15 for sure.

yeah ayton is considered the second best player in the draft

i'd say that game should be a little concerning in that it highlights how hard it is to win vs a team hitting threes if your best offensive play is to dump down to a guy on the block

and here i thought arizona was an awfully tough four-seed for virginia
