whether it's narrative or "lebron owns a home in LA" or championship opportunities or other reasons it has never made much sense imo for lebron to go to the lakers. idk it's like this rumor materialized out of thin air and it's not clear to me why. the reasons offered don't really hold up to much scrutiny

they were great

dray had an incredible play down the stretch blocking a ball and leaping like a foot out of bounds to save it

the ref waving off durant's 3 with like 20 seconds left that would have given him 53 points and cut the blazers lead to 1 wasn't my favorite call

never got a clear look to see if he was out but it looked like maybe his heel was off the ground

even I was like you gotta count that one but I’m more of a drama partisan than a blazers one these days
