fgti spinner (Spottie), Friday, 9 February 2018 17:34 (eight years ago)

yeah nowhere to go but up, regression to the mean and so forth

k3vin k., Friday, 9 February 2018 23:42 (eight years ago)

crowder is a good bounceback candidate, his year was off the rails as soon as his mom died and he got traded within like days. he needs an offseason to get back in shape.

— Chris Forsberg (@ESPNForsberg) March 3, 2018

lag∞n, Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:39 (eight years ago)

you don't think he might come back for the playoffs? he could rehab for another 2.5 months before they really start to need him

k3vin k., Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:48 (eight years ago)

tho maybe they would want to play it safe, that would be understandable. otoh this seems like the rare year in the east where anyone can make the finals

k3vin k., Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:49 (eight years ago)

i think its possible, but even then coming back from missing a whole season and being thrown into the playoffs is a pretty rough transition, how much wld he be able to contribute and wld it be worth it or desirable for the celtics to do it, considering that even if hes technically ready they still might hold him out id say if i had to bet that hes not coming back this year, but he def cld who knows

lag∞n, Saturday, 3 March 2018 17:53 (eight years ago)

also i doubt making it to the finals and getting smushed is high on the celtics list of priorities

NBA YoungBoy named Rocky Raccoon (m bison), Tuesday, 6 March 2018 02:56 (eight years ago)

he can do flips and all sorts of shit

lag∞n, Tuesday, 6 March 2018 02:57 (eight years ago)

p sikk tbh

k3vin k., Tuesday, 6 March 2018 03:25 (eight years ago)

The only scenario that makes any sense to me at all for Hayward to come back during the playoffs would be inserting him briefly into a home game in the second quarter, for the morale boost and to energize the crowd. Regular minutes beyond 5, up to 8 tops, would be totally implausible, unless they've been keeping him back unnecessarily, which seems totally implausible to me, too.

I can’t stop watching this clip of Brad Stevens yelling at Jaylen Brown to “PUNCH IT” in transition and within a microsecond he jumps from 3rd to 1st gear and explodes.
