even if he performs more like career average tyreke evans he cld still be very useful as a microwave type for the celtics, they basically cannot score when kyrie sits (last nights 30pt win over the knicks excepted)

He’s a good change of pace type of player at the right price. If you just want to dump him the ball like 7-8 possessions in a row if things are jammed up, you could do a lot worse.

Evans is above average and does a lot of things well if healthy which has always been his biggest hurdle.

monroe seems like the kind of player they dislike but i'd def take him with that injury exception. he seems like a pain to play against when he's motivated.

celtics have the assets to make it happen, you have to pray the mirotic experiment doesnt work and they fall out of the offs and brow gets mad and demands a departure

they dont have the contracts to do it tho unless they want to trade horford which i suspect they dont, the solution is to sign someone to a short big contract to act as filler, but they dont really have anyone that wld be deserving of that contract who is up for a deal, what they cld do is trade for a player whos coming off their rookie deal like say julius randle and give them like a $15m a/year two year deal with a team option third or some shit, but then that cld fuck up their luxury tax situation, idk its complicated

Boston would only have non-bird rights if they acquired him, meaning they would only be able to offer to him the mid-level exception in free agency next season since they are well over the cap.
