I'm not sure Evans is an exact fit for the Warriors, and in a bidding situation, they don't have a lot of assets, but just noting this: Evans' agent when he came into the league was ... Bob Myers.

logically seems to make sense for all parties involved but idk, feel like there’s a stigma to *being traded* and also optically I feel like (in effect) demanding a trade looks like quitting

bron himself set up the story line of his triumphantly coming home so he could give Cleveland championships. He loudly claimed Cleveland as his chosen home and one true love. now he's kind of stuck with either staying true to his self-generated hype and sticking with the Cavs, or explaining why he never meant what he said and wiping the egg off his face.
