Spottie, Saturday, 30 December 2017 03:19 (eight years ago)

GIANNNNNNNNNNIIIIIISSSSSS

Spottie, Saturday, 30 December 2017 03:21 (eight years ago)

lmao he stepped out and they didnt call it haha

Spottie, Saturday, 30 December 2017 03:21 (eight years ago)

steph happy to be back

that's not my post, Sunday, 31 December 2017 04:31 (eight years ago)

terrible loss for the nuggets tonight

k3vin k., Sunday, 31 December 2017 04:35 (eight years ago)

it's been weird watching the Bucks lately, both in outscoring the Twolves 27-12 in the 4th and having a game winning blown call going our way. always wondered what it was like to be on the other side of that.

frogbs, Sunday, 31 December 2017 04:37 (eight years ago)

why did the nuggets trade donovan mitchell?

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 07:49 (eight years ago)

i feel like they probably technically traded the pick that became donovan mitchell but i guess you can see how they thought he'd be redundant on a pretty guard heavy team

trey lyles has actually been pretty awesome for them esp recently but they'd prob take that one back

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 08:45 (eight years ago)

if they redid the draft today itd be something like

tatum
mitchell
markkanen
smith
collins

undrafted: lonzo ball

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 16:11 (eight years ago)

magic being so gassed off his own legend that he traded russell for nothing and drafted ball is shaping up as an alltimer

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 16:16 (eight years ago)

Kuzma at 6

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 17:15 (eight years ago)

i did have him there but then i deleted it cause hes been very good but is also a lil older so im not sure abt his ceiling

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 17:54 (eight years ago)

there are a bunch of guys who cld still be very good that draft is looking pretty deep

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 17:56 (eight years ago)

it would be interesting how the potential of guys like lonzo, josh jackson, de'aaron fox etc would be judged

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 18:40 (eight years ago)

i bet they'd all still go top 10. ntilikina and jonathan isaac as well.

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 18:40 (eight years ago)

magic wld def take lonzo again just to be stubborn

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 18:53 (eight years ago)

fox ntilikina and isaac still have their upside mystique still somewhat intact, jackson is maybe the only one who has been totally exposed, ball is wounded and divisive but still has supporters

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 18:57 (eight years ago)

de'aaron fox has been pretty bad too but the kings were in love w/ him & would still take him i bet

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:00 (eight years ago)

also it was kinda obvious he was gonna struggle

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:00 (eight years ago)

I think the lakers being tragically preordained to take Lonzo painted them into a corner that even a time machine couldn't get them out of.

omar little, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:02 (eight years ago)

if we eliminate the inevitability of dumb teams doubling down in a second draft and weigh things a lil more on the side of adjusting to new and valuable information mitchell wld def be in the top 10 so youd have to push someone out j collins is prob in there too, so likely at least a couple of ball jackson fox ntil isaac are out, kuzma cld def displace someone too

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:05 (eight years ago)

also the #1 pick fultz??? who even knows where he goes

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:07 (eight years ago)

remember that guy

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:09 (eight years ago)

bam adebayo too cld see him rising into the single digits

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:11 (eight years ago)

I can't help but wonder how well the current Spurs front office would do if they ever had a lottery pick. I think they've been picking at #20 or lower ever since they picked Timmy.

A is for (Aimless), Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:13 (eight years ago)

they traded to take kawhi at #15 is a pretty good answer

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:15 (eight years ago)

OG might be really good too. Dudes built like a linebacker and loves his short shorts and can shoot.

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:27 (eight years ago)

Who knows with fultz knowing the 76ers we may not find out til the 18-19 season.

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:28 (eight years ago)

nice shorts salute og

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:29 (eight years ago)

Josh Jax is so bad, haven’t even really seen glimpses of what he can be. Fox has been bad too but at least he’s shown flashes and who knows what the Kings are trying to do with their rotations and player development.

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 19:31 (eight years ago)

has josh jackson fixed his shot at all? it's really hard to watch

J0rdan S., Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:07 (eight years ago)

Nope

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:09 (eight years ago)

why do so many young dudes have bad shots these days you think with all the systems and institutions it’d get fixed by age 12 or something

Clay, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:27 (eight years ago)

the systems and institutions are bad! its 90% petty coaches who just want to win games

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:29 (eight years ago)

in europe u show any talent and they throw u right in a skills academy, in america u play 5000 aau games instead

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:31 (eight years ago)

yeah I guess I should remember my 90s nyc boroughs basketball culture books

Clay, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:35 (eight years ago)

and that was prob even better than the dollar sign eyes dads of today

Clay, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:36 (eight years ago)

meanwhile jason tatum was working with a basketball trainer who has nba clients since he was in jr high 😎

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:38 (eight years ago)

Athleticism, speed and height still trumps skills in the aau system.

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:40 (eight years ago)

yeah if youre built like josh jackson youre gonna dominate the mortals youre playing against basically until u get to the nba when suddenly everyone is a 6-7 elite athlete

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:43 (eight years ago)

Ya and confidence and ‘drive’ (self motivation) seem to be hard for scouts to scout. Like these kids are used to being ‘the guy’ and being clearly the best on whatever team they play on so how will they respond to sucking as a rookie or being in the doghouse or w/e.

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:53 (eight years ago)

you’d just think a 23 year old well meaning assistant coach would be like hey bud maybe don’t shoot in a way that is extremely fucked up it’ll cause u problems down the road but I guess said coach would lose his job bc this country is v v dumb

Clay, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:54 (eight years ago)

Yah don’t criticize the kid or they’ll pout and bounce to another program that panders to them

Spottie, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:55 (eight years ago)

steph and klay having nba dads and being two of the greatest shooters ever is p interesting

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:56 (eight years ago)

not every nba player can coach but they all can prob teach skills better than any lower level coach, especially if youre 10 and have to listen to them

lag∞n, Sunday, 31 December 2017 20:58 (eight years ago)

Athleticism, speed and height still trumps skills in the aau system.

k3vin k., Monday, 1 January 2018 00:16 (eight years ago)

i think he's the only player whose shooting % has no correlation with distance

ciderpress, Monday, 1 January 2018 02:58 (eight years ago)

lol
