not really but putting someone on him who cant defend anyone is prob not gonna work out great

celitcs start kyrie/brown who does IT defend raptors have drozen/lowery wizards have wall/beal its gonna be a tough playoffs for IT on that end

he kinda has to be throwing out multiple 40 point games a series like he was last year

For sure he’s a negative if he’s not balling out on offense

and then the rest of the cavs backcourt is also very bad defensively!

look cavs aren’t losing to the wizards or raptors lol

jr smith is a solid defender, wade could conceivably lock in for stretches in the offs

the cavs can lose to the raptors and maybe even wizards sometimes the wheels just fall off, and it always looks obvious in retrospect

like an old ass no defense team playing bron huge minutes and winning off some unexpected bounce back seasons, yeaaah

maybe theyll lose to the bucks who knows!

lots of things would prob have to go wrong for the wizards to give the cavs a real run in a 7 game series

raptors look amazing this year (quietly) and I know we’re supposed to not believe in the choking in the playoffs idea as being a real thing but...I still am discounting them like 50% in my brain

thats fair i personally believe in the raptors choking but i also think they cld overcome it and it seems like theyve take some steps in addressing their style of play problems

kyrie wasn’t exactly a... positive on defense for the cavs last year & they made it thru ok

“who guards kyrie” is not exactly a problem any team in the league can solve anyway

kyrie and IT arent really comparable defenders

not sure how the celtics got out of that half only down by 2 they looked baad
