sabonis would be a truly incredible player if his wingspan was like a foot longer

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:15 (eight years ago)

he's made enough money it's time to sacrifice for the good of the team

he'll make a great backup

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:38 (eight years ago)

now we wait

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:41 (eight years ago)

lebron on the grizz would be a really good team too bad they spent all their money on chandler parsons instead

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:42 (eight years ago)

srsly though if i had one chip to put on lebron's next team i would go with miami

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:45 (eight years ago)

i have no idea it wld be funny if he did the decision pt 2 tho

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:47 (eight years ago)

actually maybe nvm their contract situation is way worse than i thought

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:48 (eight years ago)

knicks seem more than a lebron away from being good, they need like a better guard too

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 00:51 (eight years ago)

yes but it wld be the biggest shitshow

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 01:23 (eight years ago)

spurs

Men's Scarehouse - "You're gonna like the way you're shook." (m bison), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 02:38 (eight years ago)

I'm not sure how well LeBron would mesh with Popovich. Pop doesn't seem that hard to play for, but LeBron is kind of unique to work with.

A is for (Aimless), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 02:45 (eight years ago)

sry vetoed spurs not enough drama

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 02:48 (eight years ago)

theyd be fine, pop coaches manu who throws passes between people's legs to teammates who aren't expecting it xp

i would create drama, i would stalk lebron

Men's Scarehouse - "You're gonna like the way you're shook." (m bison), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 02:49 (eight years ago)

spurs' good players are at the positions lebron plays which is awkward, they wouldnt be as improved by him as other teams

ciderpress, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 03:51 (eight years ago)

kawhi moves to the 2, problem solved, now teams never score on the spurs.

Men's Scarehouse - "You're gonna like the way you're shook." (m bison), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 03:52 (eight years ago)

congrats to the 2019 nba champion spurs who went 82-0 and 16-0 and allowed zero points, the nba's most perfect team

Reggie Jackson sucks

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 03:59 (eight years ago)

he seems more healthy this year. he seems fine. what'd he do?

drummond seems a little more bouncy and confident. every time i watch the pistons i cant decide if tobias harris is good or not

Spottie, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 04:09 (eight years ago)

ive always hated reggie jackson's game

Clay, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 04:10 (eight years ago)

that's why they call him Mr. October

A is for (Aimless), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 04:14 (eight years ago)

Reggie Jackson makes his teammates suicidal

good article on the wolves' weaknesses and some of the poor D stuff discussed upthread, c&ped from The Athletic to this thread because I didn't want to hogg it up...by Britt Robson the best wolves writer ever (this was after the back to back losses couple games ago so a little outdated but the larger concerns are still relevant

I think this picture of Cory Brewer effortlessly sums up the complete history of the Minnesota Timberwolves as a franchise

With successive pratfalls against theoretically inferior Eastern Conference opponents on Tuesday and Wednesday night, the Minnesota Timberwolves did their level best to remind their fan base that rooting for this franchise requires that one become either a patsy or a cynic — either a person “who is easily manipulated or victimized,” or a person “who questions whether something will happen, or whether it is worthwhile.”

Or, put more bluntly, do you want to be a dupe or a jerk?

If that sounds harsh, consider that while there are countless ways to chronicle the historical ineptitude of the Wolves 28-year existence heading into this season, it is still difficult to capture the essence of how wretched the fan experience has been for those who follow the team. But for the purpose of our current context, let’s give it one more shot.

Spottie, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 18:13 (eight years ago)

you happy w the Athletic subscription? Was thinking about it getting it.

Spottie, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 18:13 (eight years ago)

there isn't a lot of content and they're only focused on a few markets. i like a bunch of the writers though.

reggae mike love (polyphonic), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 18:37 (eight years ago)

yeah i like the dubs/bay area writers they've got

Spottie, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 18:46 (eight years ago)

I would say that you should make your Athletic decision based on your local writers they got, I'm digging it based on that

that said....I got a year for $40 with a promo code and I'm finding some good national content too

Universal LULU Nation (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Wednesday, 1 November 2017 20:56 (eight years ago)

yeah i passed when they had that deal going and shoulda done it then. think I'll wait for something like that to come around again.

Spottie, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 21:15 (eight years ago)

In that photo Dwyane looks like Lebron just aired one out.

EZ Snappin, Wednesday, 1 November 2017 22:20 (eight years ago)

This Sabonis thing is out of control

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 2 November 2017 01:05 (eight years ago)

call all destroyer, Thursday, 2 November 2017 01:07 (eight years ago)

ciderpress, Thursday, 2 November 2017 01:22 (eight years ago)

cavs will miss the nba playoffs

ciderpress, Thursday, 2 November 2017 01:22 (eight years ago)
