A few other teams made that switch and it's a good look.

feel like "the lack of colored armholes" has some resonance as a display name

NBA may need to get Adidas back on the phone. We’re only 10 days into regular season and Ennis, LeBron, and Draymond have exposed Nike.🤦🏾‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/sLW4LsEixd

Nike expects me to pay https://twitter.com/ThePRobReport/status/92412262407830732800 for a jersey that can’t withstand a headlock from Bradley Beal but Artest’s 04 uni made it out in 1 piece lol ok pic.twitter.com/TFmqoMVSax

“Nike has always put the athlete at the center of everything we do and we have worked hard to create the most advanced uniforms in the history of the NBA,” a statement from the company to ESPN.com said. “They are lighter and deliver great mobility and sweat wicking characteristics, and the feedback from players has been overwhelmingly positive. However, during game play we have seen a small number of athletes experience significant jersey tears. We are very concerned to see any game day tear and are working to implement a solution that involves standardizing the embellishment process and enhancing the seam strength of game day jerseys. The quality and performance of our products are of utmost importance and we are working with the NBA and teams to avoid this happening in the future.”

Spottie, Tuesday, 7 November 2017 22:12 (eight years ago)

"standardizing the embellishment process" you mean like by claiming these are "the most advanced uniforms in the history of the nba?"

marcos, Tuesday, 7 November 2017 22:19 (eight years ago)

they shd develop a jersey that if it rips theres another one underneath, now that wld be advanced!

these were a travesty with the sleeves and non matching shorts... BUT i actually liked how they treated the type (drop cap and slight angle, offset numbers) and logo on the front, wish they woulda done these on a normal jersey/short combo.
