if bron's already decided to leave the cavs i could see him really half-assing the regular season

even if he werent injured isaiah wld be unlikely to match last years career best season where he roughly played a standard kyrie season, and hes injured

if he doesnt find his form this season the cavs r screwed

calling last year's isiah season a standard kyrie season strikes me as very generous to kyrie but i'd have to look at the numbers again

that had p similar numbers, isaiah was better but by that much, kyrie also kinda had his best year, but considering their ages and career trajectories seems like a reasonable assumption that kyries can continue keep last years pace and improve where it was prob a career year for isaiah

feel like there's a huge usage gulf between kyrie and isaiah too--a lot of what isaiah did comes from how much of the offense he had to carry (which is a credit to him, it was amazing to see).

yeah he had a crazy year, but kyrie is better

also i suspect that offense the celtics had going to isaiah will suit kyrie just fine

tho obvs itll be a lil diff since theyve got hayward now and all the rest of the players are different too

i think isaiah last year was a clear class above where kyrie's ever been, at least in terms of regular season production

isaiahs one big advantage is he did get to the line a lot more which isnt nothing, kyrie shot a lil better

you're right it is very easy now that Kyrie is a Celtic he is clearly better than IT
