lag∞n, Wednesday, 20 September 2017 18:29 (eight years ago)

he was looking pretty hefty last season

Spottie, Wednesday, 20 September 2017 18:32 (eight years ago)

iggy was gonna leave over 3 million? damn

k3vin k., Wednesday, 20 September 2017 19:12 (eight years ago)

Spottie, Wednesday, 20 September 2017 19:55 (eight years ago)

Iggy article was very good and glad we can add "crashed failed free agent recruitment meeting" to cp3's resume

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 20 September 2017 20:09 (eight years ago)

(I like cp but I also like clowning him, anyone that big of an ass to his own team and all of America in the form of cliff Paul kinda deserves it)

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 20 September 2017 20:11 (eight years ago)

Enjoyed that Dwight article too and totally see how he can be not that bad of a guy and still be absolutely zero fun. Farming would be a good look for him and his hundred kids

Actually kinda hoping one of them becomes a baller so we can enjoy lebron jr dunking on Dwight jr in twelve years or so

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 20 September 2017 20:14 (eight years ago)

the article said iggy's people said cp3's presentation was great!

k3vin k., Wednesday, 20 September 2017 21:03 (eight years ago)

this seems kinda goofy tho i guess it cld stop the late season race to be the very worst http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/20774528/nba-draft-lottery-reform-rooted-fans-disinterest-watching-teams-tank

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 14:07 (eight years ago)

I know it actually sounds awesome that the new guy blasted in and improvised like a half hour presentation or whatever but I just get a little schadenfreude chuckle out of it not working by the slimmest of margins

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 16:03 (eight years ago)

this is a cool exercise, trying to rank who the best players will be 4 years from now

k3vin k., Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:48 (eight years ago)

ha three celtics on that page

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:53 (eight years ago)

theyll be traded for late first round picks by then

Spottie, Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:56 (eight years ago)

rude

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:58 (eight years ago)

its cool how they did it like a draft instead of letting everyone vote on every pick makes it a lil crazier

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:59 (eight years ago)

ziller loves jabari and everyone else is like wtf man

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 17:59 (eight years ago)

most of these guys seem to not know a lot about basketball but still a fun thing

k3vin k., Thursday, 21 September 2017 18:12 (eight years ago)

couple new foul rule interpretations in this thread, feeling em

NBA refs cracking down on two areas this year: 1. "Reckless" closeouts (see Zaza); 2. Shooters creating contact to draw FTs (see Harden)

lag∞n, Thursday, 21 September 2017 23:04 (eight years ago)

good

Spottie, Thursday, 21 September 2017 23:25 (eight years ago)

2. Shooters creating contact to draw FTs (see Harden)

this is one of the things i've least liked about the last five years or so since kobe started living off this so i am fully behind this

Clay, Friday, 22 September 2017 00:39 (eight years ago)

for real tho, it's one of the least palatable part of so many players' games

Chocolate-covered gummy bears? Not ruling those lil' guys out. (ulysses), Friday, 22 September 2017 01:08 (eight years ago)

Just submitted a post on Kawhi for @FanRagNBA. Wish I could have found space for this awesome @bball_ref stat: https://t.co/kbfVOyP465 pic.twitter.com/K76vfs5pxj

i hope cracking down on shooters creating contact leads to the elimination of the charge !

J0rdan S., Friday, 22 September 2017 14:02 (eight years ago)

(the standing stationary charge, which is also related to reckless closing out!)

J0rdan S., Friday, 22 September 2017 14:03 (eight years ago)

otm

k3vin k., Friday, 22 September 2017 14:05 (eight years ago)

Barnes has spent the summer working on his playmaking for exactly this reason. He has set an informal goal of averaging three assists per game, he told ESPN.com. "It's something I have to do better," he said.

wow, dare to dream harry

call all destroyer, Friday, 22 September 2017 15:50 (eight years ago)

melo rumors

marcos, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:10 (eight years ago)

it would be funny if the cavs got significantly worse this year lol

k3vin k., Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:11 (eight years ago)

that is my prediction btw, no finals for the cavs, book it

k3vin k., Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:11 (eight years ago)

not that hard to imagine that Kyrie leaving would make them worse

marcos, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:14 (eight years ago)

they kind of suck outside lebron and one of these days he's not going to be able to go nuclear at will

call all destroyer, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:19 (eight years ago)

if bron's already decided to leave the cavs i could see him really half-assing the regular season

Clay, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:27 (eight years ago)

maybe. but not the offs. he's too vain to dick around during the playoffs.

A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:31 (eight years ago)

even if he werent injured isaiah wld be unlikely to match last years career best season where he roughly played a standard kyrie season, and hes injured

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:31 (eight years ago)

if he doesnt find his form this season the cavs r screwed

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:33 (eight years ago)

calling last year's isiah season a standard kyrie season strikes me as very generous to kyrie but i'd have to look at the numbers again

k3vin k., Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:39 (eight years ago)

that had p similar numbers, isaiah was better but by that much, kyrie also kinda had his best year, but considering their ages and career trajectories seems like a reasonable assumption that kyries can continue keep last years pace and improve where it was prob a career year for isaiah

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:50 (eight years ago)

feel like there's a huge usage gulf between kyrie and isaiah too--a lot of what isaiah did comes from how much of the offense he had to carry (which is a credit to him, it was amazing to see).

call all destroyer, Saturday, 23 September 2017 03:52 (eight years ago)

yeah he had a crazy year, but kyrie is better

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 04:08 (eight years ago)

also i suspect that offense the celtics had going to isaiah will suit kyrie just fine

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 04:09 (eight years ago)

tho obvs itll be a lil diff since theyve got hayward now and all the rest of the players are different too

lag∞n, Saturday, 23 September 2017 04:10 (eight years ago)
