the history of how teams with lebron are built is not "who will be on this team should lebron choose them" but "who will lebron choose to be on his team when he decides which team to play for"

so like i think he'll just pick a team and then get his guys -- whoever they are -- to get to that team, wherever it is

friend of mine points out that the fact that the cavs have an inexperienced gm does make the likelihood that hes trying to nickel n dime the celtics higher cause he doesnt realize that hell pay for these type of moves down the road via his reputation being hurt

He's totally susceptible to this I think and it actually could be a great locker room- IT is gonna have the fire of a thousand suns in him once he can go, he's already old AAU buds with Kevin love and pretty much everyone loves IT so maybe he's the hub of a good vibe. Crowder seems like the type of dude bron embraces, backup to do the dirty work, I dunno

feel like —leverage— is kinda beside the point here like the celtics just arent going to break the bank, and even the likelihood that cleveland is holding out for some minor piece is small, they havent even contacted the celtics to ask for anything! more likely the cleveland front office is freaking out and yelling at each other

seems like the celtics gave accurate info on isaiahs injury but then cleve saw it for themselves and got cold feet

worth noting that cleve wasnt accepting this deal earlier in the summer but then once kyrie threatened to boycott training camp they pulled the trigger, meaning they value kyrie higher than what they got in this deal, so they may have panicked a lil when they did the deal now theyre panicking about panicking

have you seen this reported? i am pretty sure a player has to pass a physical from the receiving team. agreed upon trades have been aborted in the past because of this, tho i'm blanking on examples. happened fairly recently i think

im saying teams IMO shouldnt be able to back out of trades if the physical doesnt turn up any un/under reported injuries, read today that theres not a rule about it which means its up to the commissioners discretion
