like now he has masterfully manipulated an entire season to be about where he will be the next season

now im not saying this is justified but i think its like kinda justified this is my breakdown of brons psychology: he feels like he doesnt get enough respect as the goat or 2nd goat but he knows he cant just come out and say that so he flexes on the league with drama thereby proving his incredible power, he can disrupt the entire league just through being huffy and upset

lag∞n, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 20:57 (eight years ago)

yeah no it kinda owns don't get me wrong

Clay, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 21:01 (eight years ago)

anyways 100% cavs should trade bron for picks and prospects to like the suns or whatever but they will not

Clay, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 21:03 (eight years ago)

gilbert would do it!

Spottie, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 21:04 (eight years ago)

i finally concede that the dubs have ruined the league now that the cavs are gonna get blown up

, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 21:08 (eight years ago)

yeah a lot of this is prob just a reaction to the hopelessness of competing with the nuclear warriors

maybe the banana boat happens THIS YEAR. everyone to the rockets

Spottie, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 22:55 (eight years ago)

ya thinking about it bron is prob trying to force a trade while maintaining plausible deniability, he cant really afford to be seen to be ditching cleveland again

lag∞n, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 22:57 (eight years ago)

dont think anyones gonna blame him on this one no matter how it turns out, besides the racists of course.

Spottie, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 23:08 (eight years ago)

people love to hate on bron (especially racists) i think hed get significant blowback

lag∞n, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 23:14 (eight years ago)

probably

Spottie, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 23:20 (eight years ago)

this is the age of the internet, no matter what you do there will be blowback

Van Horn Street, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 23:47 (eight years ago)

true but bron is particularly in a jackpot, i think hed leave if he wanted to but being traded seems like by far the preferable option

lag∞n, Wednesday, 16 August 2017 23:57 (eight years ago)

he has a no-trade clause right?

marcos, Thursday, 17 August 2017 14:36 (eight years ago)

That Chris Sheridan tweet is 100% bullshit. LeBron's not leaving because he doesn't get along with Dan Gilbert ffs.

"Hey Bron, what made you jolt Cleveland and come out here to LA?"
"Well to be honest I couldn't stand playing for Dan Gilbert. All he did was spend money."

He's going to the spurs next year. It has been prophesied.

seven mambas (m bison), Friday, 18 August 2017 01:30 (eight years ago)

if gilbert wont let bron gm then bron is gonna get mad and become a laker its simple math

lag∞n, Friday, 18 August 2017 02:20 (eight years ago)

the lakers should put together an all-traitor team

Clay, Friday, 18 August 2017 02:23 (eight years ago)

and lavar ball should be the coach

Clay, Friday, 18 August 2017 02:25 (eight years ago)

Cavs scrambling to keep some trade leverage

Spottie, Friday, 18 August 2017 02:50 (eight years ago)

trouble....

NBA confirms that the Pacers have filed tampering charges against the Lakers surrounding contact with Paul George.

lag∞n, Sunday, 20 August 2017 19:20 (eight years ago)

lol if the lakers get blocked from getting george

lag∞n, Sunday, 20 August 2017 19:21 (eight years ago)

prob better for both parties tbf

lag∞n, Sunday, 20 August 2017 19:22 (eight years ago)

lakers lose george then we trade kyrie for him and cavs good

marcos, Sunday, 20 August 2017 19:55 (eight years ago)

yesss this delights me

call all destroyer, Sunday, 20 August 2017 22:01 (eight years ago)

Cleveland and Boston engaged in active trade discussions centered on Kyrie Irving and Isaiah Thomas, league sources tell The Vertical.

Spottie, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:19 (eight years ago)

simmons made the point on a recent podcast that the celtics should not help them out because the cavs will never get a fair deal. just let them downgrade

k3vin k., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:32 (eight years ago)

I know all metrics type stuff says trade Thomas for kyrie ten times out of ten but I still don't wanna do it

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:38 (eight years ago)

the top 2 teams in a conference swapping star players would be weird as heck, there has to be other teams involved in this

ciderpress, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:41 (eight years ago)

on the one hand this trade doesn't excite me for either side but on the other i'm not sure either side could do better if trading these players

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:47 (eight years ago)

yeah kind of a shrug deal.

Spottie, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:49 (eight years ago)

if the celtics can pull this off they 100% should but it's still pretty scary

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:50 (eight years ago)

i think it's mostly a no brainer from boston's side depending on what picks are involved

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:52 (eight years ago)

Cavs presumably demanding that Danny disgorge some of his hoard of 2nd round picks as part of the deal. Danny, loath to part with his precious treasure trove of presumably 38th, 44th or 51st picks, stays adamant against such outrageous demands. Trade falls apart. Danny feels immediate relief, reviews his intact stash of picks, cackles to himself.

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:53 (eight years ago)

why can i not get trade machine give me a successful trade including kyrie, IT, and jae even when i line up the $$$ super close?

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:58 (eight years ago)

they probably want crowder too, no? adding calderon, rose, non-assertive jeff green and IT isnt gonna help that defense

Spottie, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 22:59 (eight years ago)

i dont want them to trade the nets pick now that bagleys in but ill understand if they do

lag∞n, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:06 (eight years ago)

IT and jae is easy tho

Cavs and Celtics on verge of a deal: Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and 2018 Nets pick unprotected, sources say

whoo boy

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:19 (eight years ago)

i would not trade that nets pick

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:20 (eight years ago)

danny gets mocked relentlessly for hoarding those picks but if he loses out on markelle fultz, marvin begley and/or michael porter jr i don't know how it will end up looking

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:21 (eight years ago)

Woooo do that deal

seven mambas (m bison), Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:24 (eight years ago)

Cavs agree to deal Kyrie Irving for Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder, Ante Zizic and 2018 Nets pick, source told ESPN.

pretty great outcome for the cavs

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:25 (eight years ago)

Def best case scenario

seven mambas (m bison), Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:26 (eight years ago)

severely diminished their chances of winning the title this year but get a guy who is like 90% as good as kyrie, one of the best contracts in the league, an all but certain top 5 pick, and another first rounder... all for a guy who may not actually be that great outside of very specific situations

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:26 (eight years ago)

jeez wow at all this

Clay, Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:29 (eight years ago)

can't wait for the cavs to get kyrie on a pick and roll switch for bron to back him into the basket column

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 22 August 2017 23:29 (eight years ago)
