yeah its crazy what a solid organization and situation can do to for a player and their reputation.

.... and now he's going to the kings.

Sources: The Mavs are in the process of finalizing a two-year, 0 million deal with Dirk Nowitzki. The second season will be a team option.

when z-bo was 23 years old, he mainly aspired to be as gansta as he knew how to be. I'm glad he seems to have outgrown that.

A is for (Aimless), Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

its too bad the mavs havent been able to find a replacement star to rise up during Dirk's twilight years a la kawhi w timmay. he's been taking discounts for years and seems to be willing to take a back seat.

zbo had some troubles even in Memphis iirc

i remember this being a good read

seems to be an increased # of typos in breaking NBA tweets this year

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:16 (nine years ago)

looks fine to me, what am i missing?

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:19 (nine years ago)

hmm

Names that could be involved in a hypothetical sign-and-trade w/ Crowder (if picks aren't involved): Hood, Exum. If bigger deal, Favors. https://t.co/UAf6dclWLj

if you have images off then tweets embed as plaintext and for some reason "$1" gets picked up a special string and stripped out, so that tweet reads "The Mavs are in the process of finalizing a two-year, 0 million deal with Dirk Nowitzki."

ciderpress, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:32 (nine years ago)

oh weird.

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:34 (nine years ago)

dece deal

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:37 (nine years ago)

avery and jae for favors???

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:38 (nine years ago)

seems a lil steep but if theyre planning on letting avery walk anyway maybe not also they need to clear cap for gordos deal, i like favors but his injury history is worrying

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:39 (nine years ago)

would help your rebounding issues

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:42 (nine years ago)

ya hes a good defender too and can shoot

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:43 (nine years ago)

tho him/al isnt the most nimble front line, guess they cld always go small if needed

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:44 (nine years ago)

Euro star point guard Milo Teodosic has agreed to a two-year, 2.3M deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, league sources tell ESPN.

ciderpress, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:47 (nine years ago)

great pickup

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:48 (nine years ago)

never seen him or heard of him but hes def better than CP

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 18:56 (nine years ago)

Patrick Beverley on Teodosic: "He might be the best passer in the NBA right now." PBev needs to change hotel alias: "I used Milos Teodosic!"

Milo should just check in as "pat beverley" duh

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 6 July 2017 20:37 (nine years ago)

I like that guy a lot and I'm glad he's making the jump and sad he has to play for doc

ranking players is so dumb and pointless and i hate it but hey its the offseason and someone put up a list that i m/l agree w

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DEE6-sfXsAIR1m0.jpg

Yes, this is my Top 30 list for 2017-18. No, I do not “hate” any player. Turns out, defense actually matters in the NBA. I stand by it. pic.twitter.com/XWECJ6TEaS

sorry double image post

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 21:17 (nine years ago)

pretty good list im still not convinced klay is significantly better than bradley beal though

ciderpress, Thursday, 6 July 2017 21:40 (nine years ago)

we need to break up the warriors to find out how good they really are

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 21:57 (nine years ago)

its for science

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 21:57 (nine years ago)

sure thing, just gotta wait a couple few years

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:06 (nine years ago)

id put russ above cp3 at this point

micah, Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:13 (nine years ago)

not a chance

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:26 (nine years ago)

solid list, agree klay is too high

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:26 (nine years ago)

i also don't really think lebron is #1 but that's so widely believed at this point there's no use arguing. he's in the top 5 tho

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:28 (nine years ago)

imo that top 4 is pretty interchangeable

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:29 (nine years ago)

lebron is #1 during the 3-5 games per year where he plays his hardest

J0rdan S., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:32 (nine years ago)

fair

down that brown path (Spottie), Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:32 (nine years ago)

draymond is better than butler and wall tho imo, i think i'd still take towns over jokic

i also don't think blake is top 20 good anymore, and lowry prob just had a career year

J0rdan S., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:34 (nine years ago)

lebron is #1 during the 3-5 games per year where he plays his hardest

durant was the best player in that series imo. lebron had the same problem he's had for the past few years. great all around play but a ton of turnovers. turnovers matter!

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 22:41 (nine years ago)

feel like giannis is overrated tho ppls excitement abt is potential is warranted

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:06 (nine years ago)

also feel if u ran some sims (simulations) where u swapped bron and kds teams bron wld play better overall

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:07 (nine years ago)

idk, KD's been the better player imo stretching back to his MVP year

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:09 (nine years ago)

thats false as kd was injured for most of a season and didnt play up to his standard for much of the next

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:11 (nine years ago)

i mean the reason he didn't contend for MVP this year was purely due to his missed time

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:11 (nine years ago)

imo the conventional wisdom that bron is still who you want for a game or a series or a playoffs is correct tho eventually he will retire and die prob

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:13 (nine years ago)

it was also correct that he didnt deserve the mvp

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:13 (nine years ago)

kd def wldve been in the mix for mvp if he wasnt injured

lag∞n, Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:14 (nine years ago)

if we're going to ding KD for missing time due to injury we at the very least have to take lebron's last 3 regular seasons where he wasn't trying at face value

k3vin k., Thursday, 6 July 2017 23:14 (nine years ago)

i argued hard on this board for KD as the best all around player in that series and MVP, nonetheless i think the absolute peak performance lebron can or chooses to access 3-5 times per year is still the best in the NBA
