dubs/cavs still one injury away from being vulnerable imho

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:32 (nine years ago)

cavs yes, dubs no. they'd need two major injuries to be seriously threatened in a playoff series.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:34 (nine years ago)

ur trippin

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:35 (nine years ago)

yeah dubs would be ok.

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:35 (nine years ago)

they coasted without KD

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)

adding fn swaggy p isnt that great folks lol

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)

curry just engaged god-mode

swaggy > matt barnes
Casspi > Ian Clark

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)

take steph or kd off the warriors as presently constructed and they still win 60+ games and have home court advantage throughout the playoffs. hell, dubs sans KD is basically the 2015 nba championship team. plus more bench shooting with swaggy and omri.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:37 (nine years ago)

they did not coast w/o kd, also the regular season isnt the offs

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:38 (nine years ago)

yeah disagree with lagoon, they could probably still win the title with an injury to any one of steph, KD, or dray

k3vin k., Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:38 (nine years ago)

not WILL, but they'd be favorites to. what's their competition?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:39 (nine years ago)

exactly

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:40 (nine years ago)

you all have dubs mania lol which is warranted but only because they have the best players, however if you take away those players they wldnt be as good

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:40 (nine years ago)

he sat in the playoffs too

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:40 (nine years ago)

no one is arguing they wouldn't be AS good

this is extremely untrue

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:41 (nine years ago)

they've already shown they can be defeated without KD, they'd still be favorites but by a small margin rather than a big one

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:41 (nine years ago)

yeah that team still had two valuable starters that are gone now. xp

like a couple of these guys will end up being nice on the dubs but theyre not actually good players theres a reason they were available and if any of them are asked to step up because of an injury against a good team in the playoffs it wont be pretty

now u know why i hedged with the qualifier "basically"

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:45 (nine years ago)

insufficient

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:45 (nine years ago)

tho i my defense, harrison barnes was less than useless in the playoffs and bogut doesnt count as a person imo

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:46 (nine years ago)

barnes was very key on D

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:47 (nine years ago)

dubs w/o kd or dray wld be so flammable, they cld prob stand to lose steph a lil better but they wld def suffer from a playmaking perspective, klay wld be the easiest to lose

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:47 (nine years ago)

rockets wld prob put up 150 a game v them sans either kd/dray

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:49 (nine years ago)

this is basically it tho 4 me.

then it's settled, the FTC should be consulted at once to break up the warriors monopoly on having all the nba players

and theyd still lose bc dantoni aint shit in the playoffs ever

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:52 (nine years ago)

dantoni has a couple ring in a very closely related universe to this one

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:54 (nine years ago)

dantoni had kind of a tragic career arc im glad he's getting one more chance with a good team

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:00 (nine years ago)

those suns teams had the worst playoff luck ever and no one talks about it cause i guess the suns dont have fans or something

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:02 (nine years ago)

bad luck takes fall off and a re forgotten over time, suns fans havent forgotten tho

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:05 (nine years ago)

there is deep hatred for Robert Horry here.

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:06 (nine years ago)

those suns teams were unreal, even more than the warriors it felt like they were playing a different game than everyone else

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:06 (nine years ago)

heh but horry aside i mean making shots is part of the game but just the injuries and suspensions they had really sucked

lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:08 (nine years ago)

also the kpbe airball into artests hands in 08

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:44 (nine years ago)

they will all have to retire as all the money has already been given to evan turner and ian mahinmi

ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:46 (nine years ago)

that PG crop is BADDDD

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:48 (nine years ago)

it is but to be fair most of the good PGs have starting jobs already and the few decent FAs (Teague and Holiday) have signed.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:51 (nine years ago)

i think given how capped out so many teams are, there is going to be a lot of value to be had at vets minimums. teams that laid low were smart.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 20:52 (nine years ago)

yah, not too many dumb contracts this year so far!

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 21:10 (nine years ago)

teams already used up most of their dumb contract quota last year tho

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 21:13 (nine years ago)

yup

down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 21:14 (nine years ago)

i didnt know Jrue re-signed. 5/126 is fair if (big IF) he stays healthy. gentry needs to work out what they are gonna do on offense cos he was lost after they added boogie.

Indiana has waived guard Monta Ellis, league sources tell The Vertical.
