worth the gamble. the nets have made sound moves since the new GM came on board.

apparently all the free agents are mad at their agents because they can't get good contracts because everyone blew their cap space on evan turners last year
― ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 16:42 (nine years ago)
thinking u shd sign an evan turner cause the caps going up again next year then the cap doesnt go up is pretty funny

basically all the non-premier free agents this year and next are screwed now as are the non-premier teams and owners gj everyone
― ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 17:00 (nine years ago)
its good for those few rebuilding teams that actually have cap space too, they get to add good roleplayers on short/cheap contracts
― ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 17:05 (nine years ago)
swaggy p to the dubs LOL
― 龜, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 17:58 (nine years ago)
Gordon H was smart to sign with the Celtics, they are a LeBron injury from the finals probably and his personal financial/legacy upside in terms of being a white boy that's good at b-ball in Boston is incredible

There were three players in the NBA last year who shot >43% on 4.5+ catch-and-shoot threes: 1. Stephen Curry, 2. Klay Thompson, 3. Swaggy P.— Ben Cohen (@bzcohen) July 5, 2017

jp nice job 2017-2020 champion warriors
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:02 (nine years ago)
yeah this is honestly getting so ridiculous i'd call it frustrating but mostly it makes me want to ditch the nba for a few years
― Clay, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:05 (nine years ago)
lmfao kd bullying swaggy immediately upon signing
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:07 (nine years ago)
i mean the downside of having a whole bunch of well-paid stars is supposed to be the lack of depth but the warriors and heatles are basically like "that shit is not true at all fam XD LMAO"
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:24 (nine years ago)
honestly, i think the answer is a hard cap and hard floor and getting rid of max salary limits. nba's "middle class" is already getting squeezed, might as well get some competitive balance from it.
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:25 (nine years ago)
the NBA middle class are getting paaaaaaaid
― down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:27 (nine years ago)
dubs/cavs still one injury away from being vulnerable imho
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:32 (nine years ago)
cavs yes, dubs no. they'd need two major injuries to be seriously threatened in a playoff series.
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:34 (nine years ago)
ur trippin
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:35 (nine years ago)
yeah dubs would be ok.
― down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:35 (nine years ago)
they coasted without KD
― down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)
adding fn swaggy p isnt that great folks lol
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)
curry just engaged god-mode
swaggy > matt barnesCasspi > Ian Clark
take steph or kd off the warriors as presently constructed and they still win 60+ games and have home court advantage throughout the playoffs. hell, dubs sans KD is basically the 2015 nba championship team. plus more bench shooting with swaggy and omri.
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:37 (nine years ago)
they did not coast w/o kd, also the regular season isnt the offs
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:38 (nine years ago)
yeah disagree with lagoon, they could probably still win the title with an injury to any one of steph, KD, or dray
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:38 (nine years ago)
not WILL, but they'd be favorites to. what's their competition?
― k3vin k., Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:39 (nine years ago)
exactly
― down that brown path (Spottie), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:40 (nine years ago)
you all have dubs mania lol which is warranted but only because they have the best players, however if you take away those players they wldnt be as good

he sat in the playoffs too
no one is arguing they wouldn't be AS good

this is extremely untrue
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:41 (nine years ago)
they've already shown they can be defeated without KD, they'd still be favorites but by a small margin rather than a big one
― ciderpress, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:41 (nine years ago)
yeah that team still had two valuable starters that are gone now. xp

like a couple of these guys will end up being nice on the dubs but theyre not actually good players theres a reason they were available and if any of them are asked to step up because of an injury against a good team in the playoffs it wont be pretty

insufficient
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:45 (nine years ago)
tho i my defense, harrison barnes was less than useless in the playoffs and bogut doesnt count as a person imo
― nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:46 (nine years ago)
barnes was very key on D
― lag∞n, Wednesday, 5 July 2017 19:47 (nine years ago)
dubs w/o kd or dray wld be so flammable, they cld prob stand to lose steph a lil better but they wld def suffer from a playmaking perspective, klay wld be the easiest to lose
