it's fair for the knicks to ask for that and fair for the celtics to turn it down

the knicks basically want three top 3 picks and one of the best contracts in the league

the funny thing is good contracts dont really mean anything to a rebuilding team (besides having trade value)

i know celtics fans are getting impatient but i really don't think the team's under much pressure to consolidate assets right now, making the wrong all-in move is the only way they can screw their current position up

if the ultimate goal is winning the nba playoffs i don't think its insane to wait on a mvp-level player to be available and just keep attempting to draft your own in the meantime. it's still pretty unclear what porzingis is going to be

zinger is the type of guy u want to take a risk on, tho if theyre asking for more than teams have gotten for star players in their prime not sure what the point is

seems like ainge thinks he can sell the knicks on something like 3, 7 and crowder for zinger, and trading ab for that 7 pick wld clear up more cap space to get further dudes
