also wade was very watchable when he was younger, and even up into his last year in miami really. very unique driver, very slithery and of course crazy athletic. too many mid range j's but hey.

black covfefe in bed (voodoo chili), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 18:23 (nine years ago)

realistically it wld be a good opportunity for some father/son back and forth joshing and prob help the campaign

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 18:24 (nine years ago)

this offseason is already better than last year's after like 3 days

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 18:27 (nine years ago)

thirsting for violence

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:12 (nine years ago)

utah was trying to trade for beverly i think

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:12 (nine years ago)

apparently they have some cap space that about to disappear, which as we know always works out

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:14 (nine years ago)

utah trying to get beverley seems like theyre worried george hill is gone.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:23 (nine years ago)

i would be low-key excited if the spurs signed george hill again tbh

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:23 (nine years ago)

hes good

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:36 (nine years ago)

cp3 still feels like a pipe dream, but george gets you a long defender and 3 pt shooting, plus he knows the system (hes been doing it in utah, too). question is if he's interested in coming back.

nice cage (m bison), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:39 (nine years ago)

basically agree w this zinger trade value take but wld add that youve gotta be worried about injuries with a player his size and you shdnt be worrying about fit since if youre getting him its for the long haul https://www.boston.com/sports/boston-celtics/2017/06/21/heres-a-realistic-package-the-celtics-could-send-the-knicks-for-kristaps-porzingis

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:42 (nine years ago)

zingers ceiling is still fairly cloudy imo

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:45 (nine years ago)

zinger is a fascinating player but i'd be scared to break the bank for him

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:48 (nine years ago)

like if can he play center w dece rim protecting hes basically god even if his offensive game never maxes out, if hes a power forward who has trouble keeping up with quicker players he better be near dirkian to justify the hype, also he hasnt rebounded that great so far tho havent watched enough knicks to figure out how much their —scheme— factors into that

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:49 (nine years ago)

Jayson Tatum says his No. 1 pick in the food draft would be St. Louis-style pizza. Never knew that was even a thing.

— Adam Himmelsbach (@AdamHimmelsbach) June 21, 2017

this is messed up

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:50 (nine years ago)

they use velveeta or something?

, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:51 (nine years ago)

they have their own special blend of velveeta-like substance iirc

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:52 (nine years ago)

ok i just checked and he is from st louis

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:52 (nine years ago)

still not acceptable

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:53 (nine years ago)

Provel /proʊˈvɛl/ is a white processed cheese particularly popular in St. Louis cuisine,[1] that is a combination of cheddar, Swiss, and provolone cheeses, and tastes nothing like any of them.[2][3][4]

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:53 (nine years ago)

i would try that

k3vin k., Wednesday, 21 June 2017 19:55 (nine years ago)

st. louis style pizza is bad

marcos, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:01 (nine years ago)

Def would need to figure out positions/defense with horfird but I watched a lot of Knicks the last two years and zinger looks like a guy with unique talent stuck in a trash scheme and feeling too young & lost to know what to do

I brad would drop the safety rails and let the zinger run wild

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:01 (nine years ago)

wld def try the st louis 'za also want to try detroit style

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:03 (nine years ago)

detroit style is good st louis style is not

ciderpress, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:06 (nine years ago)

whenever Hornacek actually schemed to Zing's skillset, he did well, but then Phil would call him up and ask him to use the triangle more.

black covfefe in bed (voodoo chili), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:08 (nine years ago)

lol that team

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:08 (nine years ago)

it's funny. now Dolan only ever seems content to let a GM/president operate with full autonomy when that GM is running the franchise into the ground. whenever anyone (Donnie Walsh, Glen Grunwald) does anything promising, Dolan interferes and when they push back they get the axe.

black covfefe in bed (voodoo chili), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:12 (nine years ago)

hes basically a born loser who was also born with billions of dollars

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:13 (nine years ago)

i really like st. louis pizza or at least imo's

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:14 (nine years ago)

zingers ceiling is still fairly cloudy imo

i guess i'm just really high on him but he's a 21 year old who is 7-3 shooting 35% from three and providing legit rim protection, all while playing on a team that is actively hindering his development and with teammates that don't want to pass him the ball

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:16 (nine years ago)

he also has no injury issues and moves really well for someone his size. i guess you never know but i'd feel more comfortable about him healthwise than most guys that height.

his ceiling is a true franchise player who can effect the game from the rim all the way past the arc... at worst he's probably the second or third best player on a really good team if all you end up getting out of him is the rim protection and good shooting for someone his size.

he's also a smart dude who seems to love the game and works hard and doesn't do dumb stuff. i'd bet on him.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:18 (nine years ago)

yeah all things considered i think hes a worthy bet tho yr assessment of his current development is a lil generous imo

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:21 (nine years ago)

this years 3 next years lakers + bradley crowder or smart is prob reasonable, wld draw the line and both picks and brown tho

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:23 (nine years ago)

zinger had some lingering ankle issues that seemed to limit him as the season went on. there was a clear demarcation in his from performance before and after his injury, but it could be that he was just playing a bit over his head in the first half.

black covfefe in bed (voodoo chili), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:30 (nine years ago)

it's prob not a chronic concern, but the injury history for dudes that tall is so spotty

black covfefe in bed (voodoo chili), Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:31 (nine years ago)

basically every player that size has had serious injury issues

lag∞n, Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:32 (nine years ago)

zinger's rim protection is in line w/ embiid, gobert & draymond (& LMA...?) http://stats.nba.com/players/defensive-impact/#!?CF=DEF_RIM_FGA*GE*5&Season=2016-17&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&sort=DEF_RIM_FG_PCT&dir=-1

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 21 June 2017 20:36 (nine years ago)

welp that does look p impressive tbh
