lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:36 (nine years ago)

confirmed that lebron has been traded

Clay, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:38 (nine years ago)

do a three way trade where you send lebron to indy for paul george, indy sends picks and lebron to boston and boston trades you lebron for picks

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 14:38 (nine years ago)

great scoop clay thx

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:39 (nine years ago)

Sources: Andre Iguodala – core part of Warriors titles – plans to seriously consider free-agent overtures elsewhere. https://t.co/tRgXYtw2Mq

thought they had it all worked out lol

what the heck is a pacer

I think this refers to a harness racing horse. It's more popular as a sport in Indiana than other parts of the country. So, it's an Indiana equivalent of saying 'thoroughbred'. Here's a pacer in harness:

that's quite the device

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 16:02 (nine years ago)

was thinking about that. wild guess would be around #10?

good guess cad!

Between the 10th and 11th pick, by my analysis. https://t.co/XbTzgeKrfc

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 16:04 (nine years ago)

the pacers also play in something called a 'fieldhouse' which is equally inexplicable unless they are horses

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 16:04 (nine years ago)

a pacer looks like a reverse centaur

nomar, Monday, 19 June 2017 16:41 (nine years ago)

i guess iggy was being even more cryptic than usual then

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:13 (nine years ago)

maybe him and curry want to go to the hawks so they can be closer to augusta

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:14 (nine years ago)

all good nba players are scheming to create a mega team

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:16 (nine years ago)

good idea imo

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:17 (nine years ago)

i would be bummed if iggy left but they cant expect like 90% of their roster to take less than market value (and in his case probably way less)

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:18 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:43 (nine years ago)

so it seems likely that boston will have two top 5 picks next year

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:47 (nine years ago)

they could very conceivably end up with picks 1 and 2

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:48 (nine years ago)

it's prob not a huge chance but every NBA team would trade markelle fultz for luka doncic and michael porter jr

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:48 (nine years ago)

well i guess that's not quite accurate bcuz one of those picks boston would have regardless of a trade

i guess it comes down to whether the celtics like doncic and/or porter better than fultz, the answer seems to be yes

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:49 (nine years ago)

please indulge in the title of the following URL

draft question will be: how far will ball fall and will ball bounce up at the last moment?

yeah i think every one does at this point tho obvs opinions can change a lot in a year with players that age, regardless this trade doesnt give them too much of a shot of getting either of those guys as the pick wld have to land exactly on the 2 spot, all things considered its prob like 10-15% to hit that

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:10 (nine years ago)

mostly this seems to be about the celtics liking whoever it is theyre targeting at 3 as much as fultz

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

wld be p cool if they got the 1 and 2 picks next year tho

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

trade wldve been a lot cooler w/o the top 1 protections tho

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

ainge would look like a brilliant hero if they got the 1 & 2 picks

A is for (Aimless), Monday, 19 June 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:14 (nine years ago)

iggy talking himself into leaving

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:31 (nine years ago)

i think lonzo would be a good fit on the celtics

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:34 (nine years ago)

they could use the shooting at least and if he's 6' 6" he could play alongside 2 guards and they'd prob be ok

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:35 (nine years ago)

also think he'd be a good fit w/ stevens. both two guys who see the floor preternaturally.

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:36 (nine years ago)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5g5zz9O6LI

this video is interesting tho. lonzo is clearly a good leaper especially when combined w/ his size but he really is like weirdly stiff.

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:37 (nine years ago)

yeah it wld be hard to pass him up but he worries me hes got a lot of talent but is so unsound

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:38 (nine years ago)

there are moments in that video where he looks like this guy

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmQupbJ0SuU

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:38 (nine years ago)

i dont think i can really say he provides shooting with that form its too easy to defend taking weird stepbacks to avoid getting yr shot blocked is p much a non starter

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:39 (nine years ago)

the thing w/ his shooting for is def an issue. i read or heard that he has tons of trouble pulling up off the dribble going in one direction bcuz his form is so wack. UCLA apparently tried to change it on a preseason overseas trip and lonzo shot poorly and lavar called the coach and was like "we're done messing with his form"

otoh the celtics are a secure/strong enough organization that i think they could basically tell lavar to fuck off. the lakers, kings etc could not

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 18:40 (nine years ago)

he wld have to completely rebuild his shot, pretty insane project at his age

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:42 (nine years ago)

wiggle is the new nba draft buzzword

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:43 (nine years ago)

lonzo seems really far outside of the danny ainge zone

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:44 (nine years ago)

truth

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 18:44 (nine years ago)

it's true
