he is 32 years old and has nothing left to accomplish on super teams

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 02:22 (nine years ago)

how is making the finals every year for the foreseeable future, plus complete control over the team, draining his career away?

k3vin k., Monday, 19 June 2017 02:49 (nine years ago)

the track record for the current lakers management is as follows: _________________

i should have clarified that this statement is operating under the pretense that lebron would only leave bcuz he believed that he had a better shot to win elsewhere

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 03:09 (nine years ago)

i don't think lebron would leave just to "play in LA". this is the same reason people assumed he would just end up on the knicks and he never considered them.

i do think that he would leave cleveland if he felt like they were not able to put the best team around him to win

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 03:10 (nine years ago)

no one in the east is really in a position to put together a better lebron team than the current cavs

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 03:10 (nine years ago)

also lebron is the gm of the cavs and will always be looking too make deals

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 03:13 (nine years ago)

i've always been on down on the lakers' core, and lebron has never been eager to play with young players. so it doesn't really make sense to me either. i don't think deangelo russell-lonzo ball-brandon ingram-paul-george-lebron james is beating the warriors.

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 03:13 (nine years ago)

there should just be a lottery to decide who gets lebron that year

Clay, Monday, 19 June 2017 03:14 (nine years ago)

the east is more interesting because whichever team he went to would automatically be the heavy favorite to make the finals. so if someone could offer a better core...

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 03:16 (nine years ago)

like if lebron went to the wizards i think they would have a better shot vs the warriors than the cavs currently do

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 03:16 (nine years ago)

the pacers should be trying to get whatever pick in this years draft they can for george. i don't think anyone is going to offer them a player unless the cavs panic.

call all destroyer, Monday, 19 June 2017 05:59 (nine years ago)

i wonder at which pick in the draft 1 year of paul george is equivalent to the expected lifetime value of the pick

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 06:09 (nine years ago)

was thinking about that. wild guess would be around #10?

suspect the cavs wld happily trade love for him

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 13:47 (nine years ago)

what the heck is a pacer

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 13:58 (nine years ago)

A car (indy 500)

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 14:00 (nine years ago)

one who paces

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:04 (nine years ago)

i also suspect the cavs would do that tho it's a gamble and (minor subplot) it's not clear who's going to be running the cavs in 10 days.

call all destroyer, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:11 (nine years ago)

lebron tho

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 14:25 (nine years ago)

i really hope gilbert brings griffin back

marcos, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:27 (nine years ago)

i'm pleased to announce that i will be running the cavs in 10 days

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:28 (nine years ago)

congrats

marcos, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:35 (nine years ago)

pls dont trade lebron

marcos, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:35 (nine years ago)

trade lebron

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:36 (nine years ago)

confirmed that lebron has been traded

Clay, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:38 (nine years ago)

do a three way trade where you send lebron to indy for paul george, indy sends picks and lebron to boston and boston trades you lebron for picks

nice cage (m bison), Monday, 19 June 2017 14:38 (nine years ago)

great scoop clay thx

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:39 (nine years ago)

thinking about it i wld like the cavs to trade love for george, it might make next years 4match competitive

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:39 (nine years ago)

early bird gets the worm bud xp

Clay, Monday, 19 June 2017 14:42 (nine years ago)

thought they had it all worked out lol

what the heck is a pacer

I think this refers to a harness racing horse. It's more popular as a sport in Indiana than other parts of the country. So, it's an Indiana equivalent of saying 'thoroughbred'. Here's a pacer in harness:

A is for (Aimless), Monday, 19 June 2017 15:57 (nine years ago)

that's quite the device

good guess cad!

Between the 10th and 11th pick, by my analysis. https://t.co/XbTzgeKrfc

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 16:04 (nine years ago)

the pacers also play in something called a 'fieldhouse' which is equally inexplicable unless they are horses

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 16:04 (nine years ago)

a pacer looks like a reverse centaur

nomar, Monday, 19 June 2017 16:41 (nine years ago)

i guess iggy was being even more cryptic than usual then

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:13 (nine years ago)

maybe him and curry want to go to the hawks so they can be closer to augusta

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:14 (nine years ago)

all good nba players are scheming to create a mega team

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:16 (nine years ago)

good idea imo

ciderpress, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:17 (nine years ago)

i would be bummed if iggy left but they cant expect like 90% of their roster to take less than market value (and in his case probably way less)

Spottie, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:18 (nine years ago)

further details of the celtics-sixers trade

lag∞n, Monday, 19 June 2017 17:43 (nine years ago)

so it seems likely that boston will have two top 5 picks next year

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:47 (nine years ago)

they could very conceivably end up with picks 1 and 2

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:48 (nine years ago)

it's prob not a huge chance but every NBA team would trade markelle fultz for luka doncic and michael porter jr

J0rdan S., Monday, 19 June 2017 17:48 (nine years ago)

well i guess that's not quite accurate bcuz one of those picks boston would have regardless of a trade

i guess it comes down to whether the celtics like doncic and/or porter better than fultz, the answer seems to be yes
