i should have clarified that this statement is operating under the pretense that lebron would only leave bcuz he believed that he had a better shot to win elsewhere

i don't think lebron would leave just to "play in LA". this is the same reason people assumed he would just end up on the knicks and he never considered them.

i do think that he would leave cleveland if he felt like they were not able to put the best team around him to win

no one in the east is really in a position to put together a better lebron team than the current cavs

also lebron is the gm of the cavs and will always be looking too make deals

i've always been on down on the lakers' core, and lebron has never been eager to play with young players. so it doesn't really make sense to me either. i don't think deangelo russell-lonzo ball-brandon ingram-paul-george-lebron james is beating the warriors.

there should just be a lottery to decide who gets lebron that year

the east is more interesting because whichever team he went to would automatically be the heavy favorite to make the finals. so if someone could offer a better core...

like if lebron went to the wizards i think they would have a better shot vs the warriors than the cavs currently do

the pacers should be trying to get whatever pick in this years draft they can for george. i don't think anyone is going to offer them a player unless the cavs panic.

i wonder at which pick in the draft 1 year of paul george is equivalent to the expected lifetime value of the pick

I think this refers to a harness racing horse. It's more popular as a sport in Indiana than other parts of the country. So, it's an Indiana equivalent of saying 'thoroughbred'. Here's a pacer in harness:

so it seems likely that boston will have two top 5 picks next year

well i guess that's not quite accurate bcuz one of those picks boston would have regardless of a trade
