picks are beautiful, picks never leave you

yeah i mean there's literally no precedent for adding 6 first round picks to a roster over the course of 2 years so it's not a matter of if a trade happens but for who

i don't hate this trade for philly either. fultz is great and if fultz-ball had gone 1-2 there was no ideal pick for them at 3

you gotta have someone who wants to dance tho

yeah maybe there's a slight reduction of leverage since teams know ainge has to do something. then again they could trade a team 4 first round picks over the next two years and still have the normal number of first round picks after that so i think they can make something happen if they want.

yeah if i had to bet id say they have a big trade in the pipeline right now

i think he might have a gambling problem

after 5 minutes of thinking about it on a short night's sleep this is a p. clear sign that taking the pick had been a fallback option for a long time. they want to sign one all-star and trade for another before they need to extend isaiah. whether the trade is now with the #3 pick+ or next trade deadline with choice of brown/jackson plus other picks that's the plan.

problem is the only guy who is worth it and in a bad situation is davis and if he's actually available it means everyone in new orleans has gotten fired.

feel like this trade must just come down to ainge didnt believe fultz has superstar potential, seed him as more of a solid allstar ceiling guy

It will be a v bad take tho. Lots of teams have piled on young talent after years of terribleness without spending years deliberately sabotaging the team and making a completely unwatchable product to get there.

the problem w/ the process was not the process but the picks

basically every lottery pick in the 2015 draft aside from mario hezonja has more trade value than okafor right now

even a fully healthy core of fultz-simmons-saric-embiid doesn't make sense

embiid is probably not tradable and they're not gonna move simmons or fultz so i guess the clock is ticking on saric already? the entire thing is a mess honestly

jackson seems more like what the alleged ainge player has been recently in that he's a great athlete with tons of defensive potential who can't really shoot. him and jaylen brown would be terrors on the wing but tatum is prob more complimentary. personally i hate jackson's shot and would prob take tatum yeah.
