zaza playing 13mins last night is more the problem, theres no one for tristan to guard, putting him on dray and and having him sag back into the paint has some appeal theoretically but it hasnt worked so far

btw dray has been in foul trouble both games and it hasnt really mattered cause the dubs r just scoring so many points, doesnt seem like he affecting the series that much defensively anyway, kinda a weird first couple games in a the warriors are breaking basketball sort of way

yeah love outplayed him last night, the foul trouble is hurting him for sure. he hit those early threes tho and that opened everything up.

cavs are def in full do not even bother to guard dray mode, he cld prob hit 10 3s and they wldnt change that, not like they have many options

btw ive rewatched the play from a number of angles at different speeds and in the interest of balance i will say fouls cldve been called on bron at least twice but... the double dribble was def not imperceptible particularly not up close from brons angle as it impeded the path of the ball

i can live with not calling the occasional double dribble. the hill that i will die on is refs not calling self (which i acknowledge is just a more advanced double dribble)

the rule that i pay attention to the most that needs to be eliminated is the charge bcuz it makes for bad basketball, as opposed to overlooking a double dribble which makes for great basketball

if you eliminate the charge, you could never switch a smaller man onto a larger man, bcz the big would just knock the little guy straight onto his ass and roll to the basket unguarded.
