my fav outcome of this series wld be cavs winning via bron having the greatest finals performance ever, not cause im really rooting for the them just cause i wld like to see something like that, and it wld be cool to see the dubs lose after adding kd, i do not think thats whatll happen, i think the dubs will win in 5

this is a wise and correct take, altho i would wager warriors in 6

Looks like Bron is playing hard for GOAT status right now. Dubs in 4 or 5 would be a blow against his claim to the throne over the Ghost Of Chicago. Dubs in 6 or 7 would muddy the argument. Cavs victory would maybe cement it for him? All this is kinda pointless and hypothetical but I feel like it matters to the players when they're on the court.

the bron james is already the best player of all time
― ciderpress, Saturday, 27 May 2017 04:31 (nine years ago)
my desire for stephen a smith to be wrong again outweighs any feelings i have about either of these teams― ciderpress, Friday, May 26, 2017

if the cavs win, lebron is the GOAT.
― k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 14:12 (nine years ago)
all signs point towards >>> yes
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 14:15 (nine years ago)
as die-hard MJ fan, I've been saying what kev said. But no matter what Bron does from here out, MJ is more of an athletic genius. More skilled, greater impact on the game.

a funny thing thats happening is the warriors crying abt ppl liking competitive basketball, kd in particular is super defensive

shdve gone to boston bitch
KD's right, g∞n. Free agency and player salaries already have a shit load of restrictions trying to create more parity. Crappy management has more to do with it than unrestricted free agency.

yeah blaming the players for the system that was collectively bargained is a bad look

fwiw as long as u guys are going into well actually mode the the league tried to get the players to agree to salary smoothing which wldve paid the players, collectively, just as much but prevented teams from loading up while the cap bumped up but the players rejected it, so it is their fault, and its made the nba worse
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:13 (nine years ago)
dont let me stop u from caping for multimillion entertainers tho, theyre depending on yr defense
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:15 (nine years ago)
i am conflicted about it tbh, but i don't see how blaming individual stars for making crystal clear personal career decisions helps anything
there's probably a good takedown article to be written about how cp3 runs the union. seems like it benefits stars more than the average players
― k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:22 (nine years ago)
its just funny that it so obviously bothers kd that ppl are like the nba is boring now, he shd be able to deal with it its not that bad lol

idk, i doubt he's that bothered. he's basically saying the right things, that ppl should suck it up and get used to it because it's not his problem. he probably gets asked the question 10x a day
― k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:26 (nine years ago)
hasn't league been on a less-competitive trend ever since expanding to 30 teams?
― A True White Kid that can Jump (Granny Dainger), Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:26 (nine years ago)
lol hmm xp
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:27 (nine years ago)
anyway the warriors r americas enemy now, and theyre being huge babies about it, i can understand why this might active mothering instincts, just the way it is
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:30 (nine years ago)
the warriors == isis

highest scoring margin of all time (so far)
series price still looks like -270 on warriors, borderline imo
― k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:41 (nine years ago)
stars and high-draft rooks benefit and the middle class gets squeezed. same story in the nfl iirc.
the new supermax as a way of compensating the most elite players is a bandaid on the salary cap/max contract problem, and not a particularly good one.
― call all destroyer, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:44 (nine years ago)
i'm pretty w/e abt kd, like he's not a chill guy so he gives quotes like that so they love asking him the question and he remains unchill.
― call all destroyer, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:45 (nine years ago)
he.....mustve known this was gonna happen
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:46 (nine years ago)
did dray convince him he wld be americas sweatheart
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 17:47 (nine years ago)
doesn't matter. u can't just make an unchill guy chill.

yeah he's well known as a very sensitive and emo dude

The Celtics already have their beloved seven-footer. Nobody gets two.
― A is for (Aimless), Saturday, 27 May 2017 18:01 (nine years ago)
kd recently admitted that hes 6-11 and hes been underreporting his height for years cause he didnt want to play power forward lol
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 18:03 (nine years ago)
lol really? thats funny
― k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 18:07 (nine years ago)
yup it was on a radio show
― lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 18:07 (nine years ago)
iirc KG did that in his younger days too
yeah part of the weird thing w/the OKC years was how durant would always walk hunched around and westbrook would wear these crazy lifts, so for years everyone thought durant was 6'2" and that westbrook was 7'4"
― nomar, Saturday, 27 May 2017 18:22 (nine years ago)
i think westbrook's game really exploded this year when he felt free to be his own height and Druant's psyche really improved when Dray told him to not be ashamed of being a tall man.
