spurs or bucks are my favored cp3 destinations

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

i think CP may be ready to take less to win?

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

wonder if he'd lose endorsements too being out of the LA market?

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

not lose, but like, not get any more new big ones.

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

he's got so much money ugh just do it chris

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

bucks would be AWESOME. im all for that.

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

the thing is that cp3 was the union president who negotiated the new CBA that gives elite older players the chance to get like $1 billion contracts from their current teams

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

if he wants to go to the spurs tho it will be figured out

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

yup

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:14 (nine years ago)

if he does tho... then the banana boat will never happen (while theyre any good)

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:14 (nine years ago)

i don't see how bron can trade kyrie when he plays out of his mind every playoffs

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:15 (nine years ago)

also...are we sure the spurs are going to max 32 year old cp3 out?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:16 (nine years ago)

arnovitz and lowe talked about this a bit on the pod yesterday. lowe strongly hinted that the interest was mutual

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:17 (nine years ago)

yeah heard that. they would max CP yea. or maybe a 3 year deal. he'll age well as long as his body holds up

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:17 (nine years ago)

theyre already the best defensive team, add the best defensive pg on top of that...

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:18 (nine years ago)

oh lol didnt read the article, they just are reporting what lowe said

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:24 (nine years ago)

lmao same. whatever, it's a juicy rumor

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:39 (nine years ago)

l grudgingly support cp3 to sas but whatever please demolish the joyless clippers

Clay, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:40 (nine years ago)

Love the juicy ball rumors

nice cage (m bison), Thursday, 25 May 2017 22:48 (nine years ago)

the ball is full of juice rn

ciderpress, Thursday, 25 May 2017 23:07 (nine years ago)

wrong sport

k3vin k., Thursday, 25 May 2017 23:09 (nine years ago)

celtics should draft ball and trade him to the sixers for future draft picks, just as a mean goof

nomar, Thursday, 25 May 2017 23:12 (nine years ago)

lol balls are scared the lakers will pass

call all destroyer, Friday, 26 May 2017 01:17 (nine years ago)

i want so badly for lonzo ball to end up in, like, charlotte or something. no offense to the good people of north carolina, but i do not want these people to get the things that they want.

Clay, Friday, 26 May 2017 01:20 (nine years ago)

the kings are the perfect destination for him imo

ciderpress, Friday, 26 May 2017 01:24 (nine years ago)

He's prob gonna be good tho

Spottie, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:35 (nine years ago)

i've been reluctant to go full challops on lonzo but i'm thinking his most likely result is "decent"

call all destroyer, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:38 (nine years ago)

guys with shots that weird sometimes just don't work out in the pros

Clay, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:39 (nine years ago)

the comp i keep coming back to is rubio. his shot will play better than rubio's b/c he'll hit open j's but i think he's going to give something back in defense and athleticism.

call all destroyer, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:42 (nine years ago)

hes also not that great at getting to the hole

lag∞n, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:45 (nine years ago)

yup

call all destroyer, Friday, 26 May 2017 02:45 (nine years ago)

nice xp

Spottie, Friday, 26 May 2017 16:01 (nine years ago)

if ball if anything less than a star player he's going to look like an idiot for this, i keep being reminded of

nomar, Friday, 26 May 2017 16:07 (nine years ago)

Paul obviously hasn't spoken at all about his free agency situation, but for years now it's felt like he and the Spurs were destined to be together. With the Spurs possibly seeing their old guard begin to retire, this might be the perfect time for Paul to come in and take over the Spurs.

i get what this means now but at first pass i thought this was a zing at Tony slowing down in his old age

Clay, Saturday, 27 May 2017 02:48 (nine years ago)

loving the juicy cp3 rumors, but in all honestly, i dont see it happening unless paul would agree to a steep pay cut which i would not expect him to do. he's up for ~$40 million a year now, and there's no way the spurs can get that far under the cap without gutting the team.

nice cage (m bison), Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:09 (nine years ago)

BUUUUUUUT it's such a good basketball fit, it kinda makes me sick that it (probably) wont happen.

nice cage (m bison), Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:11 (nine years ago)

chris paul is a guy where you can wonder if money is the main factor. he's made a lot of money and is working on the worst legacy of his generation for an elite player.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:25 (nine years ago)

idk, do you consider melo elite?

nice cage (m bison), Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:33 (nine years ago)

maybe the spurs cn get melo too

lag∞n, Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:35 (nine years ago)

melo's a good two cuts below chris paul's class, but i think a lot of casuals see them as comparable players. and unlike paul melo has gotten to the conference finals

k3vin k., Saturday, 27 May 2017 03:38 (nine years ago)

Paul's one of the worst all-time great players on paper and he has to know that and it has to eat at him
