big baller brand

ciderpress, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 16:42 (nine years ago)

It would be amazing if they didn't take ball but...they're taking ball

I fully support it, the next year is going to be an hour of Stephen a smith screaming incomprehensibly with/about/at lavar on espn every day

At least after melo gets traded for peanuts and p jax decides to retire

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Wednesday, 17 May 2017 16:43 (nine years ago)

lol that whole clip is perfect

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 16:45 (nine years ago)

omg don't make me unironically like lavar ball

k3vin k., Wednesday, 17 May 2017 17:22 (nine years ago)

big baller brand will be successful due to irony

ciderpress, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 17:29 (nine years ago)

too pricey for an ironic purchase

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 17:31 (nine years ago)

that just makes it more ironic

ciderpress, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 17:40 (nine years ago)

i need some big baller brand knockoffs

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 17:42 (nine years ago)

this is unlistenable

it's honestly a testament to the level of NBA discourse at the national level that an article as bad as this can provoke such surprise. trading the pick for george is probably the dumbest idea i can think of

Why

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 18 May 2017 06:55 (nine years ago)

lol fultz human interest http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2681205-long-overlooked-washington-star-markelle-fultz-has-everyones-attention-now

lag∞n, Thursday, 18 May 2017 14:26 (nine years ago)

ha meant to write lil not lol

Why

because they have 0 chance to win a title in george's prime, why would you trade such a valuable piece for a player who will come to you in free agency in a year anyway? wasn't that the knicks' mistake with carmelo?

k3vin k., Thursday, 18 May 2017 15:01 (nine years ago)

also all signs point toward him wanting to sign there next year anyway

lag∞n, Thursday, 18 May 2017 15:04 (nine years ago)

still can't believe derozan hasn't ended up on the lakers yet

ciderpress, Thursday, 18 May 2017 15:10 (nine years ago)

i still don't think we should underestimate the chances of the lakers panicking and trading for PG anyway

it only takes 1 other team to become a threat to trade and sign for him for the lakers to give up everything they have! the knicks traded for melo bcuz they got spooked that the nets were gonna trade for him first.

J0rdan S., Thursday, 18 May 2017 17:28 (nine years ago)

Gordon Hayward and Paul George miss out on All-NBA and are no longer eligible for the DPVE supermax. This summer just got really interesting

lag∞n, Thursday, 18 May 2017 18:06 (nine years ago)

stoked 4 the drama

i made this same point upthread lol

anyway it doesn't matter, the chances the lakers get ball is like 90% and even if someone else trades up for some strange reason and grabs him, they still get fultz. trading the pick for george would be indefensible

k3vin k., Thursday, 18 May 2017 19:03 (nine years ago)

seriously they could probably sign him to a below market deal after next year, he's so thirsty to be there.

Spottie, Thursday, 18 May 2017 19:07 (nine years ago)

yup

Spottie, Saturday, 20 May 2017 20:41 (nine years ago)

hard to make the transition from amateur provocateur to professional

lag∞n, Saturday, 20 May 2017 20:49 (nine years ago)

was kind of on the fence about lavar ball, im now fully on board with "fuck lavar ball"

nice cage (m bison), Saturday, 20 May 2017 21:24 (nine years ago)

we have a lavar thread now btw

k3vin k., Saturday, 20 May 2017 21:28 (nine years ago)

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:06 (nine years ago)

i am so all in on that. but i'm not sure how the spurs can really counter the amount of money that the clips will be able to offer

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:10 (nine years ago)

spurs or bucks are my favored cp3 destinations

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

i think CP may be ready to take less to win?

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:11 (nine years ago)

wonder if he'd lose endorsements too being out of the LA market?

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

not lose, but like, not get any more new big ones.

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:12 (nine years ago)

he's got so much money ugh just do it chris

k3vin k., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

bucks would be AWESOME. im all for that.

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

the thing is that cp3 was the union president who negotiated the new CBA that gives elite older players the chance to get like $1 billion contracts from their current teams

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

if he wants to go to the spurs tho it will be figured out

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:13 (nine years ago)

yup

Spottie, Wednesday, 24 May 2017 18:14 (nine years ago)

if he does tho... then the banana boat will never happen (while theyre any good)
