uh klay is going into the hall of fame unless he murders a hooker

Chocolate-covered gummy bears? Not ruling those lil' guys out. (ulysses), Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:24 (nine years ago)

what why

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:29 (nine years ago)

klay thompon is currently running a 2.3% on the bbref hall of fame tracker. he's averaged a 22/3/2 for the past three years, and is now in his prime, so that's what he is as a player.

if he wins like 4 championships playing for the warriors or if he goes somewhere else and finds another gear i *might* entertain it.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:30 (nine years ago)

ok borderline with a p good possibility to get in. just entering his prime (just turned 27) and tracking to be, what, the 2nd best shooter of all time?

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:54 (nine years ago)

there are much worse/less notable players in the HOF

Nhex, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:14 (nine years ago)

i guess i shouldn't be shocked after our recent HOF discussion

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:30 (nine years ago)

i think a reasonable bar for HOF candidates is being a top 10 player in the league at some point in their career. that't not a lot to ask

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:38 (nine years ago)

lol yah i didnt expect any backlash on that Klay post tbh

it's not your rules and tbh I don't disagree with you, but thats the way it is. Klay also a gold medal winner

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:41 (nine years ago)

i'm sorry he just has to like.....do more. his stats outside of shooting accuracy are just sorta fine, i don't think anyone really cares about shooting accuracy as far as hof case, he needs to either win a bunch or have a really long career and i'm betting against long career.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:02 (nine years ago)

If bron becomes a GM, klay would get signed to a two-year at age 38.

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:06 (nine years ago)

xp really? he is an under the rim player who can shoot from anywhere. He can spot up into his late 30s easily.

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:07 (nine years ago)

yeah i think he'll have a long career. he can be kyle korver until he's 50 probably

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:11 (nine years ago)

be nice addition to his hof case if he re-found his shot in this year's 'offs.

that's not my post, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

needs to sign another toaster

that's not my post, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

lol

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:59 (nine years ago)

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:11 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:12 (nine years ago)

i do not like his goatee

muse on and dominate (Clay), Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:13 (nine years ago)

Not any worse than KDs

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:14 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:14 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:14 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:16 (nine years ago)

i'm gonna sneak into all the locker rooms of this fine country and shave off all the goatees

Clay, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:16 (nine years ago)

please make sure my heroic deeds are not forgotten

Clay, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:16 (nine years ago)

Is he not the best sg in the league (now that JH is a pg)?

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:17 (nine years ago)

5:30 pacific there's a show on espn so i guess at 5:55 or so xp

Clay, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:17 (nine years ago)

yeah it happens before the game

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:18 (nine years ago)

oh ok thats what i thought

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:19 (nine years ago)

why squeeze it into halftime when you can drag 30 excruciating minutes out of it

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:20 (nine years ago)

the current shooting guard landscape is a desolate wasteland but i feel like beal and middleton are at least as good as klay

k3vin k., Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:20 (nine years ago)

DDR too

k3vin k., Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:21 (nine years ago)

Yah them plus CJ and Avery is prob the top 5 xp

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:23 (nine years ago)

is harden a pg now

Clay, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:24 (nine years ago)

Yes

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 00:24 (nine years ago)

i like klay i just don't think he's a superstar. he's the best player at the league's weakest position so he's benefiting from a low bar

ciderpress, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 01:26 (nine years ago)

Rain drop, drop top, we be converting on the pick swap. #ThanksSac 😜

Spottie, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 01:32 (nine years ago)

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 01:33 (nine years ago)

this series has been ruled invalid by m'self

ok i don't want to sound overly butthurt, but at one point in the last year or so i said beal would be as good as klay and you vehemently disagreed

Heez, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 02:50 (nine years ago)

*vehemently is prob a lil strong here

Heez, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 02:50 (nine years ago)

uh because beal had a much better year this year than last and klay stagnated?

k3vin k., Wednesday, 17 May 2017 02:53 (nine years ago)

exactly what i was predicting

Heez, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 02:56 (nine years ago)

beal has been v good but theres still something abt his game that im not sold on..... cant put my finger on it he doesnt seem totally in the game like hes doin his moves which are v good but it feels like hes on another planet or something its all kinda rote

lag∞n, Wednesday, 17 May 2017 03:33 (nine years ago)

beal is good altho i havent watched quite enough of his defense to make a call on that side.
