lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 02:53 (nine years ago)

i'm just going to say it one more time, if jelly k could even be like 75% this good on a regular basis he would be an insanely valuable player

feel like if he cld put together a fully healthy season he cld do some stuff, but yeah 7ftrs who shoot the 3 attack the closeout and make the right pass dont grow on trees

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 02:58 (nine years ago)

it's maddening, he just loses confidence and aggression sometimes and makes himself worthless. he needs a little less conscience b/c when he hits his first couple shots all of a sudden he's driving and ripping down boards and getting in ppls face on defense.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 03:04 (nine years ago)

wiz have a core thats strength is in transition but no bench its a bad combo. they were visibly getting gassed at the end

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 03:07 (nine years ago)

yeah its tiring to play that way

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 03:10 (nine years ago)

wiz were def better with scott brooks but i'm still left thinking how much better they would be with someone better than scott brooks #better

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 03:14 (nine years ago)

having a good coach is def preferable

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 03:15 (nine years ago)

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:42 (nine years ago)

is that per x possessions or cumulative?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:49 (nine years ago)

cumulative

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:50 (nine years ago)

cp3 and russ grade out really well by that then, considering they've played only one series

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:52 (nine years ago)

not that lebron/dray/steph have played all that much more lol

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:53 (nine years ago)

nice more evidence in support of dray > klay

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:55 (nine years ago)

...8 games... weird metrics

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 16:56 (nine years ago)

klay has been awful on offense.

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 17:00 (nine years ago)

klay has become the third option on a team that doesn't have a 'third option' option.

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 16 May 2017 19:17 (nine years ago)

eh sometimes he's much more than that. he's just been missing shots. and he's playing really good d.

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 19:25 (nine years ago)

yeah you cld replace him with avery bradley right now and i dont think the team would be any worse off

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 19:48 (nine years ago)

im not buying that.

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 19:51 (nine years ago)

avery bradley is really good

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 19:54 (nine years ago)

hes not as good as klay but hes better than klay when klay is playing bad, replacing klay with him prob wldnt be good for their scheme as he has less switchability

lag∞n, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:02 (nine years ago)

xp yes but hes not hall of fame good. and klay has like 5" on him

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:03 (nine years ago)

klay is not HOF good!

bradley has turned into a nice player but even with his improved shooting he doesn't have the gravity effect a guy like klay does. even when klay plays bad (which is...every playoffs) the threat of his skill set is a plus for his team

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:06 (nine years ago)

klay thompson isnt hall of fame good lol

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:07 (nine years ago)

uh klay is going into the hall of fame unless he murders a hooker

Chocolate-covered gummy bears? Not ruling those lil' guys out. (ulysses), Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:24 (nine years ago)

what why

ciderpress, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:29 (nine years ago)

klay thompon is currently running a 2.3% on the bbref hall of fame tracker. he's averaged a 22/3/2 for the past three years, and is now in his prime, so that's what he is as a player.

if he wins like 4 championships playing for the warriors or if he goes somewhere else and finds another gear i *might* entertain it.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:30 (nine years ago)

ok borderline with a p good possibility to get in. just entering his prime (just turned 27) and tracking to be, what, the 2nd best shooter of all time?

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 20:54 (nine years ago)

there are much worse/less notable players in the HOF

Nhex, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:14 (nine years ago)

i guess i shouldn't be shocked after our recent HOF discussion

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:30 (nine years ago)

i think a reasonable bar for HOF candidates is being a top 10 player in the league at some point in their career. that't not a lot to ask

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:38 (nine years ago)

lol yah i didnt expect any backlash on that Klay post tbh

it's not your rules and tbh I don't disagree with you, but thats the way it is. Klay also a gold medal winner

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 21:41 (nine years ago)

i'm sorry he just has to like.....do more. his stats outside of shooting accuracy are just sorta fine, i don't think anyone really cares about shooting accuracy as far as hof case, he needs to either win a bunch or have a really long career and i'm betting against long career.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:02 (nine years ago)

If bron becomes a GM, klay would get signed to a two-year at age 38.

A is for (Aimless), Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:06 (nine years ago)

xp really? he is an under the rim player who can shoot from anywhere. He can spot up into his late 30s easily.

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:07 (nine years ago)

yeah i think he'll have a long career. he can be kyle korver until he's 50 probably

k3vin k., Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:11 (nine years ago)

be nice addition to his hof case if he re-found his shot in this year's 'offs.

that's not my post, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

needs to sign another toaster

that's not my post, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

lol

Spottie, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:15 (nine years ago)

i know the comps, just an irrational feeling i have

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 16 May 2017 23:59 (nine years ago)

Ilh hates klay too
