haha that dude was like fuck the nba im going back where im appreciated xp

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:22 (seven years ago) link

that said at this point anything >80% is preposterous imo, literally anything can happen. there's 2 rounds left to play. steph could get hurt. etc

i'd give lebron like a 25% shot at minimum in any series

pretty much this

frogbs, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:22 (seven years ago) link

I'm seeing Warriors -300 on my book which scans as about right to me

frogbs, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:23 (seven years ago) link

[injury caveat here] cavs prob have a better chance of getting swept or missing the finals than winning

i predict cavs beating celtics in 4

marcos, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:23 (seven years ago) link

don't really see cavs missing the finals

marcos, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:24 (seven years ago) link

nah theyll take a game prob

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:24 (seven years ago) link

im gonna exit this conversation cause its going to make me root for the warriors so ill be right and i dont want to

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:24 (seven years ago) link

looking forward to the Wizards/Rockets finals

nomar, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:25 (seven years ago) link

anyway imo ppl are underrating this warriors team cause they kinda coasted through the regular season, which tbh was prob a mistake considering they had to incorporate a new star, but their talent level is just insane, if thin

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:26 (seven years ago) link

there's a 0% chance of the cavs not making the fianls

in his new JVG pod, lowe was talking about how everyone thought initially that they had this huge hole at C, but javale, zaza and west have been legitimately good for them

J0rdan S., Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:27 (seven years ago) link

it's such a good situation for our javale

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:30 (seven years ago) link

its not hard to be good when playing w the rest of those guys, like javale and zaz arent actually good theyre just always wide open, and it doesnt even matter cause if theyre in a close game they can just play the death lineup

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:30 (seven years ago) link

2 recent mvp winners, prob the dpoy, one of the best shooters, and a former allstar who still has a lil gas left, and theyre all at least good defenders, all except klay are very good passers, theyre unselfish and so forth

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:31 (seven years ago) link

things of that nature

k3vin k., Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:33 (seven years ago) link

they def all look better than they would on a normal team, javale was basically out of the league. but they also are able to utilize his specific skill set (jumping extremely high) the best

this was basically exactly what jvg said. elite talent makes these role players look better than they are.

call all destroyer, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:36 (seven years ago) link

warriors took it to the final minutes of game 7 last year with no durant and injured curry, they're overwhelming favorites this year imo

ciderpress, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:42 (seven years ago) link

yup also the cavs are worse

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:43 (seven years ago) link

+dray missed a game cause of one weird thing

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:44 (seven years ago) link

dray is playing cleaner this year at least in the games ive watched

ciderpress, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:46 (seven years ago) link

warriors are obv favorites but they were last year too, it was supposed to be a cake walk they were a 73-9 team

marcos, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:52 (seven years ago) link

their best player was injured and their best defender missed a game

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:53 (seven years ago) link

+they added an mvp caliber player this year

yeah id be surprised if he does anything this year to come close to a suspension, that whole scenario has got to make u reflect

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:53 (seven years ago) link

Xp plus they weren't out for revenge/redemption

Fetchboy, Thursday, 11 May 2017 17:55 (seven years ago) link

Dubs haven't even started their actual playoff rotations yet.

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:06 (seven years ago) link

crazy neither them or the cavs have lost a game yet

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:07 (seven years ago) link

not losing games is a good strat

ciderpress, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:10 (seven years ago) link

more teams shd look into it

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:11 (seven years ago) link

it is crazy, more so w the cavs since they kinda sputtered into the offs. there really is no way to account for 'lebron tries harder'

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:11 (seven years ago) link

the raptors laying down at the altar of lebron was hilarious. what wusses.

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:12 (seven years ago) link

at least the pacers had some gd pride

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:12 (seven years ago) link

wld be p sick if they both went into the finals undefeated

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:12 (seven years ago) link

secretly hoping for that but also the offs have SUCKED so id be down w some competition

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:13 (seven years ago) link

lol the celtics/wiz series has an average margin of victory of like 16pts and an overall point differential of ~0, what is going on offs

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:14 (seven years ago) link

I would be totally surprised if the Warriors swept the finals with a fully operational Playoff Bron in the building but they're gonna win

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:17 (seven years ago) link

yeah u gotta think bron will win a game at least but on the other hand unless the cavs can turn their D around real fast the dubs cld just outscore bron

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:18 (seven years ago) link

I fully admit I was wrong on javale I thought he was gonna mess up the dubs but just being springy and happy to be there for 10-20 minutes a night is perfect when it's raining all stars around u

Can't believe I didn't think of this before the but javale dubs birdman heat parallel was just right there

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:18 (seven years ago) link

Cavs strategy to beat the Warriors from what i understand is "don't let them outscore us"

nomar, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:19 (seven years ago) link

javale is a real crowd pleaser.

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:19 (seven years ago) link

Cavs d was terrible for months and they've still swept two rounds, weren't facing uh offensive juggernauts though I guess

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:20 (seven years ago) link

dubs/suns game and the cheers were as loud for javale as they were for curry my mind was blown

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:20 (seven years ago) link

i think the celtics can win at least two games and the series will be competitive. wizards get swept imo, too volatile.

Spottie, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:21 (seven years ago) link

their D has still not been great in the offs, but their O has been dominant

Felt like a team that had read too many article about itself and how they should break it up

And/or tired of their coach

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:22 (seven years ago) link

i don't know what to think about the warriors vs the spurs/rockets. not about if they'll win the series or not, but if they'd lose a game or two.

nomar, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:22 (seven years ago) link

cavs won't get swept in the finals, they will win two games

(actually more than that because they will be nba champions again)

marcos, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:24 (seven years ago) link

spurs are a better matchup for them imo, rockets cld easily go supernova and take a game or two

lag∞n, Thursday, 11 May 2017 18:25 (seven years ago) link

warriors rockets would be lit
