well I guess the important thing is the young fellas learned an important lesson: don't spot the warriors 14 points in the first two minutes of an elimination game

Clay, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:09 (nine years ago)

even more to the point, don't play the dubs in the first round when you were 41-41 and they were 67-15; it ends badly.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:19 (nine years ago)

I enjoyed the wiz hawks game but i like this hawks team for some reason and was hoping they would square it up. i really like watching schroeder and when dwight plays like he did tonight they are pretty tough. also lots of good eyebrows on that squad, hardaway jr (best in the league), milsap, baze, thabo

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:26 (nine years ago)

pdx was ready for summer no shame in that.

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:27 (nine years ago)

glad they saw the light and kept nurk on the bench this time around

Clay, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:29 (nine years ago)

for sure.

warriors bench has turned out to be better than last years.

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 05:43 (nine years ago)

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 06:12 (nine years ago)

powell not getting minutes until game 4 is another oddity of casey's coaching

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:17 (nine years ago)

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:20 (nine years ago)

, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:24 (nine years ago)

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:38 (nine years ago)

He's not lying about the called shot on that win streak either- Durant told that story a couple of places too the last few months

otm. it doesnt bug me at all btw

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:43 (nine years ago)

kinda feel like they shd clean up the hand under the ball stuff but on the other hand he is insanely crafty at it so i have to give him credit like u watch some of those full speed and they look normal then in slowmo its like holy shit hes devious

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 16:50 (nine years ago)

yeah the 3 steps before putting the ball down is crazy in slo mo.

waiters article was awesome.

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 17:01 (nine years ago)

seems kinda ridiculous to moan about the UNSTOPPABLE ADVANTAGE that the 5'9 guy has

just block his shot already jeez

, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 17:46 (nine years ago)

literally everybody in the nba puts their hand under the ball on the dribble. that horse has left the barn

, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 17:47 (nine years ago)

Carrying was much more flagrant in the late 90s, maybe they'll crack down on it again

the headline is so good

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 18:18 (nine years ago)

eh i am fine with the refs doing their jobs

k3vin k., Tuesday, 25 April 2017 18:47 (nine years ago)

what is the refs job, makes u think

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:14 (nine years ago)

to swallow the whistles at the end of the game, but also to swallow the whistles if other rules are broken

k3vin k., Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:16 (nine years ago)

it's really a very clear and easy job when you think about it. just don't call certain things that are in the rulebook but call other things that are, based on whether i like them

k3vin k., Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:17 (nine years ago)

their job is to "don the stripes"

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:22 (nine years ago)

assts/TO for the offs so far:

Spottie, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:41 (nine years ago)

wow dray

k3vin k., Tuesday, 25 April 2017 22:44 (nine years ago)

wow evan turner

lag∞n, Tuesday, 25 April 2017 23:09 (nine years ago)

I think Evan Turner may have had some turnovers on attempted passes that were not credited as such because the ball was grabbed right out of his hands or batted away before he could do anything the scorekeeper could recognize as him passing the ball.

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 25 April 2017 23:16 (nine years ago)

kind of skeptical of that list tbh. cp3 has 10 turnovers but only 3 passing turnovers, so...hes been stripped 7 times? stepped out of bounds?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 25 April 2017 23:16 (nine years ago)

Charges, travels, kicking legs on threes who knows

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 00:37 (nine years ago)

harden held the ball on the last two possessions of the half to set up terrible iso shots that he got totally owned on and the second one they had a chance for a two for one??

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:14 (nine years ago)

Spurs game is the one to watch here probably

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:15 (nine years ago)

I have the local spurs feed tho so it's a tough call for me (Sean Elliott)

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:16 (nine years ago)

one of the worst doing it

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:18 (nine years ago)

i want to like houston okc but the shitiness of harden and westbrook is getting to me

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:19 (nine years ago)

westbrook's only missed 5 3Pers

nomar, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:25 (nine years ago)

so many fouls to stop the fastbreak this postseason something must be done

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:29 (nine years ago)

I remember watching a nugs spurs game in like february and Sean was talking about how "his spies" say that Jokic is good

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:30 (nine years ago)

lol a producer summarized the scouting report

lag∞n, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:31 (nine years ago)

Local broadcast teams have really declined, maybe because of the death of radio

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:32 (nine years ago)

Maybe I should do a medium article about this

Matt Armstrong, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 01:33 (nine years ago)

i still really hate the oladipo acquisition for OKC

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 26 April 2017 02:25 (nine years ago)

a game where every single possession ends in free throws is not the most entertaining thing in the world

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 26 April 2017 02:30 (nine years ago)

playoff ball is often not pretty

Spottie, Wednesday, 26 April 2017 02:32 (nine years ago)

i really don't dislike kanter but like... they're paying him $70 million and he can't get off the bench in a must win playoff game

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 26 April 2017 02:33 (nine years ago)

re kanter. this was funny
