i have something to say about the offseason THE 2016 NBA OFFSEASON

he did pretty well as a starter for us and love the dude as a person, will miss that baze gaze, but at the same time i'd feel weird about letting demarre walk (and i was cool w/ that move even though he was my favorite player on the hawks) but betting huge on bazemore.

ha i thought that mozgov lakers stuff i saw was a joke. goodness.

so based on all this i guess barnes is still getting the max despite the whole shitting the bed in the finals thing

i really liked baze this year but it's hard to reckon w/ that number. i think he'll be good for whoever signs him tho.

if barnes doesn't get the max it's only cuz he turned down the max to play for a better team

what is the new max tho?

i was sort of interested in what the heat would do if whitesite left but i think they'll be happy getting him for under $100m

that's............. a lot of money for derozan

probably a deal to toronto felt like they had to do. the front office was on the ropes until they made it past the first round, now they can kind of coast a few more years on lowry/derozan 2nd round+ exits unless the east cobbles together greater competition somehow.

could be v good in 2-4 years. two of those guys have star potential and the other two should be solid starters/rotation guys for a long time. who cares who they fill the salaries up with otherwise to hit the salary floor. as long as its not crippling like that derozan contract would have been for them. even wildcard Nance could turn into a nice player

Lin gets to be The Guy on a team with no expectations, thats a pretty nice gig if you dont care about rings. they prob want to find a rim runner to be his pick&roll buddy though, not sure if they have that guy on the roster already

i'm still unsure of this group. clarkson is a nice bench piece and randle seems like a good role player too but i'm not sure if russell or ingram are getting to like top 10 player in the league status tho i thought russell looked really good as a rookie. but maybe they'll get close enough for the lakers to sign someone like that.
