it def seemed like his 1 year/$20m contract was an acknowledgement that this year would prob be his last in miami but then he balled out and now they're gonna overpay him like crazy i fear

get one of those kobe contracts

i think if they get a few commitments from good players in free agency (like chandler parson types, not durant) then they could prob persuade wade to come back on a dirk/duncan style contract. but if they strike out in free agency i think he could end up with like... the wes matthews "well we gotta dump this money on someone" deal which would be bad

if u sign wade to a 2 year deal and he plays well for the first half of the season u cld prob flip him to a contender at the deadline

t'd probably end up being ~85mil for klay + dray + kd + curry which even if the cap goes up to 100m gives them very little room to work

yeah theres a cap hold for their own players but since both curry and dray are on sub max contracts the hold is well less than the actual contracts will be
