they asked steph about this in the press conference and he basically said he could have blown by him but he was hunting out a 3 and couldn't get a clean look, which makes sense

did steph say why he missed so badly on all those other threes

he did not altho i had momentarily forgotten that he tied the game with like a 24 footer at one point late in the fourth

love looks so awkward/tentative even on good defensive plays like that one

kyrie stats this series are pretty impressive, he really came through

Been piecing together the video of the 2nd half after listening to the radio last night and Kyrie really hit some tough shots. That putback from his own miss was smooth.

"Good defense" has never stopped Curry from hitting a three in the past, so as much as Love deserves some credit that can't be the only explanation

yeah curry stopped hitting those difficult off-the-dribble & step-back 3s at a good rate, i feel like this started towards the end of the season, not even with the injury

I couldn't watch the game out of unexpected jittery superstition; I didn't even check the score until the 4th quarter

When the ESPN alert rolled onto my phone, I felt relieved jubilation followed by intense shame that I had been too scared to actually watch the game, especially considering that I think I watched a total of 2 games during the regular season.

Tbf, it was a pretty stressful game and I am about as fairweather a fan as can be

biggest lead was 7 I think? and even that disappeared in like a minute.

pretty great game close the whole way with some highlight plats down the stretch

def will go down as an all time great playoffs game

woke up at 430 am and couldnt go back to bed, nightmares about those final ezili minutes wouldnt leave my head

it didnt have too many spectacular plays or crazy individual performances (bron had a trip dub but shot poorly) it was more of a grind it out type scenario but that worked w the stress of the situation

yeah pretty much a coin flip over the last 5 minutes
