cavs offense is stagnant now

marcos, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:21 (ten years ago)

warriors are warring

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:21 (ten years ago)

maybe my perception of iggy is warped cuz i was still a bit young when he was in his prime in philly but i feel like there aren't many guys who have rehabilitated their reputations in the way he has? to go from an underperforming "star" on mediocre teams to an indispensable role player on two historically good teams?

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:24 (ten years ago)

also a lot of love on the floor as this has slipped away...

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:24 (ten years ago)

seems like the w's have settled in on the road to some extent

yea he seems lost

marcos, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:26 (ten years ago)

xp yeah it's not like i watched much or any of iggy's philly years but seems like a clear case of miscast feature guy finding their true destiny as a swiss army knife sixth man.

his skills are so adaptable i can see why ppl were fooled but this is what he was meant to do.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:27 (ten years ago)

suspect iggy enjoys the juice y/n

marcos, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:27 (ten years ago)

feel like lebron coming back and subjecting cleveland to years of almost titles is perhaps the cruelest trick he ever played on them

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:27 (ten years ago)

andre jugodala, gotta be

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:28 (ten years ago)

oh cool a show about middle aged rockers enjoying the fast life of rock music that is still apparently a thing

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:28 (ten years ago)

also like.... two straight finals now where iggy's just routinely canned open jumpers

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:29 (ten years ago)

lebron looks totally washed tonight right? i'm not crazy?

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:29 (ten years ago)

iggy's been an all-star but i feel like i would cheat to get him into the role player hall of fame

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:30 (ten years ago)

feel like bron's been fine w/everything other than scoring. granted scoring is important.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:30 (ten years ago)

he was playing well until partway thru the 3rd, he even hit a few js in a row which was good

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:31 (ten years ago)

he's gotten ripped at the rim like 5 times tonight by dudes he should overpower

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:31 (ten years ago)

oh my god i saw some dude in the front row wearing a shirt that says believeland sports fannnnnnnnns will break your heart with their vulnerability

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:32 (ten years ago)

he also missed opps not backing dudes down when he had the mismatch not taking it to curry etc

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:33 (ten years ago)

man the warriors' defense in teh fourth quarter has been absurd

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:33 (ten years ago)

lol @ bron trying to give draymond the Iverson treatment

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:33 (ten years ago)

xp yeah agreed he passed too much

lebron must leave again to truly save cleveland

ciderpress, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:34 (ten years ago)

bron going to miami was like leaving for college, coming back to cleveland, ran into the same old friends, same bad habits, gotta make a fresh start, go to law school (spurs)

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:37 (ten years ago)

bron really lit a fire under draymond, he's been up in every play since their jaw

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:37 (ten years ago)

cavs keep driving but they need threes

marcos, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:38 (ten years ago)

bron is usually so hard to rattle it's great that draymond actually got under his skin

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:39 (ten years ago)

dray is a legend for that

6 god none the richer (m bison), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:41 (ten years ago)

damn i love steph curry

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:41 (ten years ago)

i was complaining to myself earlier abt his inability to lock down a layup earlier then he just hit the hardest one of the half nbd

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:42 (ten years ago)

Absolutely gutted right now.

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:43 (ten years ago)

this was a pretty true team win considering the contributions from guys livingston & varejao but i feel like games 6 and 7 of the WCF and this second half (to say nothing of every other game in the last two seasons) prove the death lineup is really just one of the best 5 man lineups of all time when they're really trying their hardest

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:46 (ten years ago)

just a good grinding win for the w's.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:49 (ten years ago)

i think you're right about the death lineup j, it's the right lineup for the current style of play and the way it celebrates two-way players is the best part. that's why i can't get behind cle, half of their guys are unplayable on one end of the floor.

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:51 (ten years ago)

i hate that kobe retired and now he's in all the ads

Clay, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:51 (ten years ago)

i like the apple tv one, not going to lie

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:52 (ten years ago)

the bron james

ciderpress, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:52 (ten years ago)

Can Dan Gilbert fire Tyronn Lue and rehire David Blatt before game six?

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:52 (ten years ago)

it won't matter

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:53 (ten years ago)

not really sure what lue could have done given the level the warriors played at tonight up & down the roster but it didn't feel like he really was pulling any strings in that second half did it

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:53 (ten years ago)

LBJ played 46 mins, Kyrie 43 mins, and JR 43 mins. That's why they scored zero foeld goals in six minutes.

Mr. Snrub, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:55 (ten years ago)

idk what you want they don't really have other players. i guess they could have played delly more?

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:56 (ten years ago)

w's top 5 were 37, 39, 40, 40, 42

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:57 (ten years ago)

t. thompson must have completely disappeared in the second half based on the box score

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 03:58 (ten years ago)

another thing that game left me feeling is that tristan thompson has an obvious identifiable upper echelon skill in offensive rebounding and when a team is playing relatively half assed like the dubs did in game 3 it can really feel like it's altering the game. but in a game like tonight where a (good) small lineup is really busting its ass they can get enough of boards (on either end) between effort and the way the ball bounces to more or less neutralize that advantage.

which isn't meant to be a diss at tristan as much as a just a comment on the nature of rebounding when it really matters

draymond still committing Nut Subterfuge

ciderpress, Saturday, 11 June 2016 04:01 (ten years ago)

poor brownie

mookieproof, Saturday, 11 June 2016 04:02 (ten years ago)

wow draymond really testing my theory that nut punchers such as chris paul are morally indefensible

J0rdan S., Saturday, 11 June 2016 04:02 (ten years ago)

xxxp yeah it just doesn't seem like he can affect a 48-min game through offensive rbs even though it seems disastrous when he gets a couple in a row

call all destroyer, Saturday, 11 June 2016 04:03 (ten years ago)

half of their guys are unplayable on one end of the floor.

yea it is super frustrating
