maybe my perception of iggy is warped cuz i was still a bit young when he was in his prime in philly but i feel like there aren't many guys who have rehabilitated their reputations in the way he has? to go from an underperforming "star" on mediocre teams to an indispensable role player on two historically good teams?

xp yeah it's not like i watched much or any of iggy's philly years but seems like a clear case of miscast feature guy finding their true destiny as a swiss army knife sixth man.

his skills are so adaptable i can see why ppl were fooled but this is what he was meant to do.

he also missed opps not backing dudes down when he had the mismatch not taking it to curry etc

man the warriors' defense in teh fourth quarter has been absurd

bron going to miami was like leaving for college, coming back to cleveland, ran into the same old friends, same bad habits, gotta make a fresh start, go to law school (spurs)

bron really lit a fire under draymond, he's been up in every play since their jaw

cavs keep driving but they need threes

bron is usually so hard to rattle it's great that draymond actually got under his skin

Absolutely gutted right now.

this was a pretty true team win considering the contributions from guys livingston & varejao but i feel like games 6 and 7 of the WCF and this second half (to say nothing of every other game in the last two seasons) prove the death lineup is really just one of the best 5 man lineups of all time when they're really trying their hardest

just a good grinding win for the w's.

i think you're right about the death lineup j, it's the right lineup for the current style of play and the way it celebrates two-way players is the best part. that's why i can't get behind cle, half of their guys are unplayable on one end of the floor.

not really sure what lue could have done given the level the warriors played at tonight up & down the roster but it didn't feel like he really was pulling any strings in that second half did it

LBJ played 46 mins, Kyrie 43 mins, and JR 43 mins. That's why they scored zero foeld goals in six minutes.

t. thompson must have completely disappeared in the second half based on the box score

another thing that game left me feeling is that tristan thompson has an obvious identifiable upper echelon skill in offensive rebounding and when a team is playing relatively half assed like the dubs did in game 3 it can really feel like it's altering the game. but in a game like tonight where a (good) small lineup is really busting its ass they can get enough of boards (on either end) between effort and the way the ball bounces to more or less neutralize that advantage.

which isn't meant to be a diss at tristan as much as a just a comment on the nature of rebounding when it really matters
