@MarcJSpearsESPN
It saddens to report Sixers assistant coach & ex-NBA center Sean Rooks, 46, passed away in Philadelphia today, sources told @TheUndefeated.

lin is a quality backup pg, cory joseph in toronto might be instructive about where his market value is

6 god none the richer (m bison), Wednesday, 8 June 2016 15:33 (ten years ago)

hornets gonna be a totally different team next year. i think the only FA they have that they really want back is Batum.

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:12 (ten years ago)

wonder what kind of offers Marvin Williams and Big Al will get. marvin played really well in his contract year he's gonna regress back to himself for sure

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:16 (ten years ago)

lakers have no real bigs rn, i could see them shelling out for al jeff

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:23 (ten years ago)

feel like a 2nd tier contender cld take an interest in williams thinking the hornets found something w him at the 4, everyone wants the flexibility of that type of player

lag∞n, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:28 (ten years ago)

yeah def if he played like he did this year then he could help for sure

but look at that spike from the 3 point line this year

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:31 (ten years ago)

to be clear i do not personally believe in marvin williams

lag∞n, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:33 (ten years ago)

ok lol

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 16:37 (ten years ago)

Fuck Marvin Williams

Heez, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 19:16 (ten years ago)

was waiting for that, took you a while

Spottie, Wednesday, 8 June 2016 19:17 (ten years ago)

marvin wilted in the playoffs this year

shot 28/35/50

really hope larry doesnt sign him

micah, Friday, 10 June 2016 12:06 (ten years ago)

solomon hill might get a decent offer somewhere - he had an opposite performance via sucking in the regular season then shooting 45/58/94 in the playoffs (only 8ppg tbf)

micah, Friday, 10 June 2016 12:12 (ten years ago)

iirc pacers fucked his contract up by not exercising an option and now he enters fa and the pacers can only offer him what they were paying him before which wasn't much

geometry-stabilized craft (art), Friday, 10 June 2016 12:42 (ten years ago)

yeah that was likely a mistake, 2.3 mil is peanuts for a 25 year old flexible wing/stretch 4

on the other hand, solo had volunteered to play in the 2015 summer league but came in out of shape and totally sucked (like anthony bennett awful). apparently his attitude was bad and vogel gave him DNPs in nine of the ten first games of the season, leading to larry declining solo's option on november 2. he staged a bit of a comeback, played in 59 games and put up 10ppg on 45/32/86 shooting.

micah, Friday, 10 June 2016 15:40 (ten years ago)

Russ out of the Olympics :/

Spottie, Friday, 10 June 2016 23:13 (ten years ago)

REPORT: Celtics are really shopping the #3 pick, 'trying to be as aggressive as possible'. (CSNNE)

yung wolves willing to trade the no. 5 (and I guess some other stuff) for jimmy butler

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 00:25 (ten years ago)

Are the Bulls wanting to hit the reset button?

moistest hoist (Spottie), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 00:33 (ten years ago)

they should if they don't want to be in the middle for like 6 more years. but they're only "listening to offers" thus far. if they do rebuild, they should consider doubling down & trying to get something decent (or even just take someone's expirings) for rose at the deadline from a team in need of a rental who's willing to get a little crazy (can we say mavs?).

it's a modified version of the trade I'd much rather have for the celtics than lil kev and his chocolate milk but if the wolves pull it off that's dope too, can't hate on them

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 00:39 (ten years ago)

wolves shd absolutely do that trade for butler, thatd be a steal imo

6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 00:57 (ten years ago)

celtics can top that

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 01:25 (ten years ago)

getting butler wld be sick

lag∞n, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:10 (ten years ago)

butler and isiah and kd is overkill imo

Clay, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:11 (ten years ago)

ya maybe

lag∞n, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:23 (ten years ago)

celtics trading the no. 3, avery bradley, one of the young dudes (rozier, young) and a few seconds for butler would be a win win for all involved, especially bc bulls should draft a new guard and move on from rose

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:32 (ten years ago)

what would anyone even do w/ rose

Clay, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:44 (ten years ago)

oh I mean they'll let him ride out his contract I'm sure, although dumping him as a rental in February wouldn't be impossible imo. next offseason he's all kinds of gone

if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:53 (ten years ago)

i guess i mean more, like, i don't really get what his place in the league is going to be., and how does that stack up with his self-perception

Clay, Tuesday, 14 June 2016 02:58 (ten years ago)

ah. yeah I got no idea, he's got to have poisoned the well in terms of his media and general fan perception for many teams/markets. but I could totally see him on the Knicks in a year by FA or even sooner by trade, bc I can see dolan/phil falling for the illusion of his marquee value
