just because i didn't see much conversation about it in the media: though donovan's coaching was generally pretty astute, the decision to let Adams and Ibaka follow Steph and Klay to the perimeter in that last game was a terrible one.
after the spurs/dubs series, I have come around to Adams as an elite player and possibly top five center. curious to see if his body can stand up to the pain he's putting it through and deliver the same results in '17.

Adams had a good playoffs but idk if he's better than many of the other good centers that people forget about since they're on bad teams like vooch and gobert

id def rather have adams than vuch or golbert his combination of mobility athleticism and finishing is perfect for todays nba, vooc cant defend and gobert is slow as heck

why is adams so bad in the advanced stats

advanced stats suck at evaluating centers also he wasn't that good until late in the season + playoffs

he was really inconsistent all year.

i always believed in him the archives will show

he rebounded at a much higher rate in the offs is the biggest thing

Was just thinking this, basically that short jumper ibaka used to use before they shoved him out to the line, could be a good option for Russell drives that get squashed or just a way to add some shell game to the p-n-r with Russ
