6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:28 (ten years ago)

the warriors are just really hard to beat

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:28 (ten years ago)

that thing where they're at home and

1) klay and steph hit a couple impossible shots and
2) the other starters feel it and kick in a couple of shots and
3) the bench dudes come in and feed on the crowd and make their shots

is so real and so tough to deal with

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:32 (ten years ago)

#1 is the part that's exclusive to this team tho, having the most accurate 3pt shooter of all time plus another guy who's possibly 2nd just breaks the game sometimes

ciderpress, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:37 (ten years ago)

now the cavs won't have the home court advantage

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:38 (ten years ago)

and they're playing an entirely different team!

Neanderthal, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 03:42 (ten years ago)

xp oh yeah #1 is key to the whole thing but there's a way they build off it while the other team is being emotionally wrecked that is v. important

nomar, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 04:46 (ten years ago)

I feel old, but can someone explain that tweet?

schwantz, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:02 (ten years ago)

Reggie Jackson, a former OKC point guard who perhaps left on acrimonious terms, indicates a bit of schadenfreude at okc's misfortune

6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:05 (ten years ago)

Also...

6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:05 (ten years ago)

Fuck okc

6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:05 (ten years ago)

lol u must've delighted in their fourth quarter choking the last two games

Nhex, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:27 (ten years ago)

Reggie used to play for okc, has some bad blood with the org

Clay, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:31 (ten years ago)

whoops missed that it got explained

Clay, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 05:31 (ten years ago)

Thanks guys, I'm just a dumb warriors bandwagon fan...

i did because i always knew thy were mark ass busters, it just makes me mad that they decided to regress to the mean the last two games instead of last series

6 god none the richer (m bison), Tuesday, 31 May 2016 10:07 (ten years ago)

but its cool bc we're signing durant and mike conley and al horford and jim davis and al del greco this team is locked in for 2017.

there was a two minute stretch in the third quarter where okc completely lost their composure and it took them till the fourth quarter to calm down. that was pretty much all golden state needed. maybe the most patient team i've ever seen.

ulysses, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 15:35 (ten years ago)

alot of ppl doing the 'has kevin durant played his last game for okc?' thing which i'm skeptical of but i could definitely see this making it more likely he reups for one year and then bolts if they don't at least make the finals next year

balls, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 15:39 (ten years ago)

yea i don't think he's going anywhere

heard on sports radio this morning about what will happen to cavs team if they lose, "will lebron leave" etc. 1) k love seems most likely person to be traded; 2) lebron's not going anywhere

marcos, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 15:45 (ten years ago)

breaks my heart to say it but warriors in 6, maybe 7 if we are lucky, though they have looked weaker during these offs then at any point in the reg season

marcos, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 15:51 (ten years ago)

durant's gonna run it back one more year almost certainly

TNT's 11.2 overnight raing for Warriors-Thunder Game 7 last night marks the NBA's highest-rated game ever on cable TV

k3vin k., Tuesday, 31 May 2016 16:19 (ten years ago)

agreed ulysses. it's been kind of maddening to me, cheering for the Warriors, watching Klay/Steph jack shot after shot and miss for 2 quarters, then do the exact same thing the final two quarters and destroy the game - like sports should not work that way? but I'm really impressed by the team's patience and composure the last three games which all seemed like they were going to be eliminated in the first half

but like others said OKC had to collapse for that to happen too, and boy did they break down like chumps when things stopped going their way

Nhex, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 16:20 (ten years ago)

old habits die hard

Spottie, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 16:28 (ten years ago)

Verajao justified his roster spot in that two-minute stretch last night.

Spottie, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 16:28 (ten years ago)

Russ only shot better than 40% in games 3-4

Spottie, Tuesday, 31 May 2016 16:34 (ten years ago)

i'm just putting this out there, i can't stand the lil b curse
