i have something to say about the offs THE 2016 NBA PLAYOFFS

I have not seen a single cavs game this season where Love played well and they didn't have a blowout win

seems like it might be good for the league to have a close game or two

nice to see the cavs have figured shit out again

Playing at home does a body good

nice to see the raps get hammered

idk I am pumped about a cavs-okc finals I think it's gonna be a good series, i always felt like it was the most competitive matchup but I never thought it was going to happen

the home swings have been so drastic for the east finals that i still think the raps take their final home game and force it to 7, despite looking like deep-fried garbage last night

(also kinda think warriors aren't dead yet)

saw some tweet that was like "raptors gonna win game 6 in toronto then in game 7 cavs win by 75 pts"

sounds about right lol

every unwatchable toronto series going 7 games wld be primo

+they win the chip

the part of me that lives for chaos would be totally fine with that

also just feel kinda bad for the way bron/cavs torment cleveland they shd form a mob and drive all pro sports teams out of the city imo

it was okay, there was some cool old footage especially from various browns eras, the ernest byner interview about "the fumble" was legit emotional and moving, but overall i think it overemphasized the drama, surely there are many cleveland sports fans whose well-being depends on this shit and as a result they are miserable but most aren't really like that. also it weirdly glossed over a lot of that actual sports details that could've made it more interesting -- like they showed jordan's famous shot over craig ehlo but that whole section would've been way better if they also talked about how good that cavs team was that year, who was on it, why they were a favored team, and why it was so crazy and unexpected that jordan came in and won that game, starting the ascendency of his career, etc. instead they just went straight to "jordan made this shot over ehlo ohhh the misery, poor poor cleveland"

that cavs team was so good, i can remember around 89 i guess jordan predicting they'd be the team of the 90s which is maybe him being gracious (although hard to imagine) but really felt in some ways like the cw at the time. i kinda lost track w/ them, they were going to be the team of the 90s then they weren't and next time they were on my radar mike fratello was coaching them and terrell brandon was the best pg in the nba for a minute.

This game has gotten really fun, just haymakers thrown both ways, plus special guest mo buckets

Up until the last 45 seconds it felt like gsw was in control because their shots were mostly going in but okc has been playing ferocious defense and keeping it close

bogut is playing a tremendous half

Like halfway through the first gsw had one of those possessions where steph got in the lane passed it to an open draymond who swung it to Barnes in the corner who hit steph at the three line, any one of them could have had a reasonably open shot but okc stuck with really difficult switches & rotations the whole way

Where the heck did this come from, I never saw okc do that this season

it's truly weird, they've always been insanely athletic but i don't know how they magically got smarter and more disciplined.
