@warriorsworld Warriors were 68-7 when NYT published Golden State owner Joe Lacob's "Light Years Ahead" interview. Will fall to 14-7

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 05:06 (ten years ago)

nice

It's like someone designed OKC to expose Golden State for being the team all their critics thought they were

thing is even though adams has been p. vital, okc are beating gsw just as much with ibaka at small ball center

micah, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 05:18 (ten years ago)

ESPN "BPI" now has okc at 53% to win the title

Poor raptors still have the worst chance at 7%! (feels m/l accurate)

Thing is I can envision the Warriors taking three in a row to win the series, this is the first time they've lost back to back games all year, but not the team we've seen the last two games against this peak Russ n KD, also

it's crazy how the thunder became the best team in the NBA once rwb started passing

The double big lineups with Adams and kanter have been a nice twist but I think the Barkley class commentators are gonna focus on it too much, Adams has just been straight ballin when he's not getting his balls kicked in, but I think the real key thing has been KD playing top notch defense and just getting his freak wingspan all up in the midst of the open court actions gsw usually thrives on

I missed the game where bucks beat the dubs but maybe Giannis presented the same problem? Are nimble seven foot small forwards the Warriors kryptonite?

Also curry is totally hurt

yea it does. cavs flakiness in full effect past two games though, they are a great team that is still capable of losing pretty much any game. home court will be nice tonight though

marcos, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:13 (ten years ago)

i think dubs will get one more game prob

marcos, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:16 (ten years ago)

pretty hard to see them losing game 5 at oracle, but after that they're just gonna have to find their groove again. it's totally doable, it'll just depend on whether curry can regain his form

yah that ibaka center lineup has been their best this series by far, westbrook told donovan to yank kanter last night (according to a twitter lip reader) and he did lol, kanter only played 9 mins and ibaka played quite a bit more than adams, the thing is even when okc goes small they are still big and strong and crazily athletic, dubs lineup of death works cause of extreme skill but okc is just brutish when theyre out there running and gunning, and then the dubs are having a hard time running on them cause theyre so fast

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:36 (ten years ago)

its crazy to say i know but kinda think gs might benefit from going big and trying to grind this one out, theyre prob a better halfcourt team than okc

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:38 (ten years ago)

it's worth a shot, okc was by far the better uptempo/transition team last night.

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:40 (ten years ago)

leave westbrook open from 3 see how it goes

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:47 (ten years ago)

curry looked like he was forcing it even from the corner, i don't think he has his range, i think that elbow bruise is hurting him more than he lets on

, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:47 (ten years ago)

whatever happens i just hope we don't get into hack-a-roberson/hack-a-ezeli exchanges

, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:48 (ten years ago)

yeah steph doesnt seem right, makes sense considering that his knee and elbow are hurting, p key body parts for basketball, his usual shooting fluidity is absent

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:49 (ten years ago)

all those roberson rainbow fts that barely hit front rim were pretty brutal and hilarious lmao how tf does that happen

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:50 (ten years ago)

he clearly had zero explosion last night. even aside from the shooting he just wasn't finishing at the rim.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:52 (ten years ago)

and then you can tell it was starting to effect how he saw the floor. that one play at the end of the first half where he dribbled in front of adams like 55 times but didn't know whether to blow by him or do a stepback and then he ended up just getting his shot blocked was pretty indicative how entirely screwed up he is.

J0rdan S., Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:53 (ten years ago)

yeah having his shot blocked by adams twice when ordinarily he wldve just waltzed by him is def telling

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 15:58 (ten years ago)

stephs jump shot mechanics are def a bit off from the knee injury you can kinda see it

ciderpress, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 16:02 (ten years ago)

he's also just playing worse in general though too. he's worn out.

ciderpress, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 16:03 (ten years ago)

westbrook has been turning off the lights at home every night the past several months and staring at this gif imo

, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 16:24 (ten years ago)

been staring at it for the last 12 hours with tears streaming down my face

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 16:28 (ten years ago)

hah cld def see stephmania being extremely motivating for russ

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 17:27 (ten years ago)

Last two games for Draymond: 2-for-16, 10 TO, 5 assists, and near-ejection.

lag∞n, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 20:16 (ten years ago)

think he threw the ball directly into KDs hand at least 5 times last night

Spottie, Wednesday, 25 May 2016 20:18 (ten years ago)

should switch to soccer obv

the players have def been doing some boneheaded stuff on the court in the last 2 games but it felt like a bunch of those turnovers need to be remedied by the coaching staff devising some new sets and w/e to get them some open looks cuz it doesn't seem like they can just run their normal stuff and win out

J0rdan S., Thursday, 26 May 2016 00:12 (ten years ago)

Cavs got this

brownie, Thursday, 26 May 2016 01:05 (ten years ago)

Remember when slapping the backboard was an automatic tech and the players just wore the refs down

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 26 May 2016 01:14 (ten years ago)

This is pretty gross

gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Thursday, 26 May 2016 01:33 (ten years ago)

I have not seen a single cavs game this season where Love played well and they didn't have a blowout win

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 26 May 2016 01:45 (ten years ago)

seems like it might be good for the league to have a close game or two

k3vin k., Thursday, 26 May 2016 01:50 (ten years ago)

nice to see the cavs have figured shit out again

marcos, Thursday, 26 May 2016 02:15 (ten years ago)

Playing at home does a body good

Spottie, Thursday, 26 May 2016 02:30 (ten years ago)

nice to see the raps get hammered

micah, Thursday, 26 May 2016 02:31 (ten years ago)

idk I am pumped about a cavs-okc finals I think it's gonna be a good series, i always felt like it was the most competitive matchup but I never thought it was going to happen

marcos, Thursday, 26 May 2016 02:44 (ten years ago)

the home swings have been so drastic for the east finals that i still think the raps take their final home game and force it to 7, despite looking like deep-fried garbage last night

saw some tweet that was like "raptors gonna win game 6 in toronto then in game 7 cavs win by 75 pts"

marcos, Thursday, 26 May 2016 14:47 (ten years ago)

sounds about right lol
