Tbf the sixth pick is definitely less valuable and that was a draft that was kinda (shrug emoji) outside the top three so it must have been less valuable as a trade chip

its crazy to look at nba players legs they are almost all extremely thin, this is just what good jumping legs look like i guess

yeah it's prob better long term to not have a couple tanks under your hips if you're gonna be running and jumping constantly for a dozen years

still haven't watched/seen the ware or pg injuries

as someone with the jared sullinger body type i can say its def a big impediment to balling out

depends, if you know how to post and use the weight as an advantage then you can ball.

im not too squeamish but id still rather not look at the pg injury after hearing about it

tbh would be pretty rad if marcus smart actually turned into a good player, with his defense he doesn't really have to be that amazing on offense to get there, just not the worst ever

one of the excuses i've heard for why 45 jordan wasn't quite jordan that initial comeback was he had 'baseball legs'. it seems a little crazy to me and soccer players usually have pretty developed legs (those dudes are just ripped in general though) so not sure why it would hurt w/ basketball (soccer players don't need to jump obv but would more swole legs hurt that really?) though maybe idk.

my completely uneducated opinion is its just a body type thing ppl who jump high tend to have that body type, like its not like these guys arent squatting heavy weights or w/e their legs just resist bigness, old jordan prob cldnt jump just cause he was old + generally put on weight

i kinda liked that theres still one team running triangle plays

When it's ran correctly it's great to watch and I still think there can be a place for it but not as your primary attack.

theres not too many teams it makes sense for right now because almost everyone has a good PG and the triangle kinda marginalizes their role in running the offense. utah could do it idk who else

also its just kinda antiquated at this point, the best elements of it have been incorporated into other offensive sets

its too slow developing is the main problem

Also usually relies on big (slow) point guards a la Ron Harper and with the hand check rules long gone the current two time mvp is a whopping 6'3 190
