i have something to say about the offs THE 2016 NBA PLAYOFFS

personally i think the halal bros beatdown was less some masterplanning by billy donovan and more something he ran into as he shuffled his lineups around but def credit to him for realizing it was actually working and not just defaulting back to ibaka

ya but their success was prob more due to rebounding than otherwise bad d xp

yeah i just dont know how well 'get all the rebounds' works vs a team that makes a lot more of their shots than the spurs

gsw also a better rebounding team than the spurs iirc

cleve did so much better than they shldve with its def worth a look with an actually talented team, of course that all ended when the dubs went small but theres no guarantee thatll work every time

thunder def need to release their perimeter guys extremely quickly on every shot and prob any of their bigs thatre north of the ft line too

i feel like they cld deal w the disadvantages of going big in the halfcourt but obvs if they cant get back on D enough to bother the gs break its hopeless

adams and kanter arent slow

kanter's not slow he just sucks at defending pick and rolls

he a very bad defender for sure dont get me wrong but he just might be their best... chance

he so good on offense/ rebounding its nuts

hed put up huge allstar numbers on a team that needed scoring and didnt care if he defended

that was a fun game. it was almost like a pickup game. dragic had any open lane to the rim that he wanted.

this prob says more about the raptors than anything but justise winslow started at center tonight in a playoff game and has also been checking their entire backcourt all series

i feel like this series is the raptors roster hitting the wall but i was surprised dwayne casey didn't go super small tonight. lowry-ddr-powell-ross-demarre is prob their best bet vs the super small heat whenever they take biyombo out cuz pat pat & jason thompson really weren't cutting it. and the heat were roasting them anyway even with biyombo in and he never really experimented.

josh richardson was amazing tonight too if he doesn't crash back to earth next season he looks like one of the best second round picks in a while
