West will get all the 2nd half minutes I'm sure
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:14 (ten years ago)
entire spurs team has the yips now
― ciderpress, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:15 (ten years ago)
Anyone know why diAw was benched
― 龜, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:15 (ten years ago)
crazy that it seems now like the spurs have 2 good players
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 01:30 (ten years ago)
Its crazy that the Spurs decided to concede the game at halftime and the second half isnt going to be played. First time I can rc that happening in modern day history. Cant say I disagree tho
― 龜, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:31 (ten years ago)
I was wondering when the Chinese plate lady would show up for a halftime show and here she is
― 龜, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:33 (ten years ago)
i feel like these circus act halftimes must be a western conference thing, i never seem to see them except when i watch okc/SF/LA games
― ciderpress, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:38 (ten years ago)
sorry, GS
― ciderpress, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:39 (ten years ago)
It's amazing to me how bad the Spurs offense is. Just Parker accepting the one on one ISO vs the other team's best defender.
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:44 (ten years ago)
i got pretty into the halftime circuit thing back when i used to go to like 80% of blazer home games. i feel like i remember some deep googling, ending up on messageboards where people ask how they can contact the denver nuggets about their unicycle gang
― Clay, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:45 (ten years ago)
Popovich in shit flinging mode
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:46 (ten years ago)
so the spurs are prob gonna get pau, thats p cool
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 01:48 (ten years ago)
this is nuts man
― lag∞n, Friday, 13 May 2016 01:52 (ten years ago)
i rly cant explain this. this is just a badly weird series.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 01:57 (ten years ago)
Rip Spurs I genuinely hope this isn't the last Timmy and/or Manu game, this was just a horrible matchup for Tim
― gis for westbrook shark jump (agent hibachi), Friday, 13 May 2016 01:58 (ten years ago)
Russ & kd both playing like they're afraid the other will leave if they fuck up, Steven Adams massive coming out party
i didnt think tim was going to retire until this series and now im alomst certain of it. manu maybe sticks around for one more because replacing both would be crushing.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 01:58 (ten years ago)
congrats okc, you will have kd for another 5 years have fun getting your skulls smashed in by the warriors.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 01:59 (ten years ago)
adams usurping ibaka's ground has been fairly surprising
― Clay, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:00 (ten years ago)
It seemed like just a case of zbo getting hot for a week but maybe you really can beat up the Spurs inside in the playoffs
― Matt Armstrong, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:05 (ten years ago)
as they are presently constructed, yeah
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:06 (ten years ago)
something is deeply wrong about all of this
― if young slothrop don't trust ya i'm gon' rhyme ya (slothroprhymes), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:13 (ten years ago)
parker and dannny green played pretty well this series and it still feels like they also don't quite have enough in the backcourt either
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:15 (ten years ago)
spurs are just aging out it's not weird except for the part where they won 67 games during the reg season in spite of it
― ciderpress, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:16 (ten years ago)
patty and manu were basically non factors, thats a big reason why
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:17 (ten years ago)
honestly, the spurs defense was p good up until this game. they held okc under 100 for 4 games, the bad part was losing 2 of them at home. their offense was just predictable and flat.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:18 (ten years ago)
they sort of have a thibs/bulls kinda thing going on now where they have such a strong system/culture that they excel in the regular season but it sorta cracks in the playoffs
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:18 (ten years ago)
calm down, they won the title two years ago, we are talking about a sample size of 2 series.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:19 (ten years ago)
this is crazy, sooooo not what I expected from this series
― marcos, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:20 (ten years ago)
ethan strauss from espn said on a true hop podcast the other day that someone from the warriors told him that the spurs offense was much more predictable/easier to defend than people think
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:20 (ten years ago)
bc it is! dump the ball into the post, try some shit, works? shoot. dont work? pass to someone. oh shit look at the time *heaves*
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:22 (ten years ago)
yeah
meanwhile if the thunder blow this durant will leave and it will be the most crippling loss in recent nba history
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:26 (ten years ago)
marc stein just tweeted that the spurs are interested in mike conley yessssss
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:30 (ten years ago)
that makes a lot of sense
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:33 (ten years ago)
this OKC collapse would be amazing
mike breen is amazing at announcing stunning momentum shifts
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:35 (ten years ago)
oh god timmy
― J0rdan S., Friday, 13 May 2016 02:41 (ten years ago)
:(

marc stein just tweeted that the spurs are interested in mike conley yessssss― 6 god none the richer (m bison)
yeah i was thinking that might happen! a lot of pacers fans want to sign him because he's an indiana guy. i'm not convinced - he's 28 and just missed half the season with a foot injury.
― micah, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:53 (ten years ago)
he missed like 25 games
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 02:54 (ten years ago)
mike conley would be perfect and i endorse it
― Clay, Friday, 13 May 2016 02:57 (ten years ago)

ya kinda weird they abandoned the crazy ball movement that one them a title
― lag∞n, Friday, 13 May 2016 03:00 (ten years ago)
i am happy for conley to go to the spurs also
― micah, Friday, 13 May 2016 03:01 (ten years ago)
looks like tp is due $15 mil for the next two years? and david west has a player option for 1.5 next season haha
conley isnt a max player, but he'll be at least 12-15 mil a year, so the spurs will have to shed some salary to make it work. bet patty mills and boris are on the block.
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 03:07 (ten years ago)
i guess i'd actually like conley better if he made more than one and a half threes a game but maybe with a spreadier offense than whatever the grizzlies were doing the past few years might open him up some
― Clay, Friday, 13 May 2016 03:09 (ten years ago)
spurs have developed tony into a three point shooter, theyd find spots on the floor for him to hit em (the corner especially)
― 6 god none the richer (m bison), Friday, 13 May 2016 03:10 (ten years ago)
Someone actually asked a relevant and substantive coaching question and popvich went with "are you a coach now?"
