Had to catch up this morning and saw this headline first and was like 17 pts seems normal for steph before I really remembered that OT is only five minutes

yeah it really is I kind of can't take my eyes off it but then when it went to overtime again I just was like somebody please try to win and went to bed

Yeah slothro eagle/bones have been a good duo

Second place votes were scattered among Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Chris Paul, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green, who also shared almost all the 3rd, 4th and 5th place votes, but there was nothing like a consensus about who was next most valuable. Damian Lillard got a few third place votes and lower, which was nice to see. Kyle Lowry was mentioned, too.

yeah, everyone goes back to jordan peak years where like karl malone and penny hardaway would get random first place votes. no one is willing to say the obvious, which is that the people who cast those votes were idiots.

karl malone won the mvp twice literally because people were bored

to me the watered-down comment is even more insane because anybody's top 5 mvp this year is incredibly strong! like you're guaranteed to get five excellent players, one of whom just happens to occupy spot #1 in a non-controversial way.
